So I am desperately in search of a NIB Gamecube system and I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of a reputable online site that is still selling new ones? I was hoping to pick up a modded import system from NCSX.com but they appear to be sold out of the system I wanted so any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you're lucky, starting tomorrow at Sears they are going to cost $19, including bundle versions (Metroid Prime Bundle, Super Smash Bros. Bundle, etc.). That's the rumor. Check the sears thread in the deals section. Of course your Sears still has to have them in order for you to be able to take advantage of that (if it really happens), but at that price it's worth checking! Keep in mind that any new GC is not going to have the component out, so you won't be able to use a component cable with it. In that sense you're better off with a used one. Of course the component cables are too expensive anyway, so maybe it doesn't matter.

I haven't seen them locally for a while, but sometime last year I was at a Sears that had them stacked up. A mix of SSBM and Metroid Prime bundles. I suspect they still have them, but I've already got 3 GCs, so I probably won't be finding out.

Thanks for the replies everyone! Sadly I called both my local Sears & Shopko stores looking for Gamecubes since they both had clearanced them so low but struck out at all 3 locations. I'm not even looking for a super cheap deal I just want to get the future wife a Gamecube for the computer room we have.

If you don't need a super cheap deal, keep an eye on Amazon. They have them in stock for $79.99 (only platinum at the moment) and the above poster mentioned they have them onsale for $50 pretty often.

gamequestdirect.com has NGC Platinum listed on their site. All others are sold out. The price is $90, though (all items sold on the site are new). I think Cheapy D posted a code for free shipping. I've used them to find some rare games in NEW condition. Never had a problem and they're always fast. Worth a look.

Amazon will often put them on sale for $49.99. Also, I think they may be on clearance at KMart in addition to Sears.

In Canada, used Gamecubes are $24.99 at EB Games. Wal-Mart has the Paper Mario bundle for $70, and Blockbuster sells new bundles (Sunshine, Zelda) for $59.99. Not sure if that helps, but you never know. ;)

Hey man where go you live at cause so far I've struck out trying to find a SSBM bundle. I'm dying to get one

EDIT: Read a little too fast and posted faster than i was thinking. just saw that you said that you haven't seen one in a while. i just got a super crazy urge to play some smash and now am in the bind of finding it cheap.
