** Work Hours Changed Over **

Just to let you know, I am officially working on grave shift now for the first time again since 2005 or so. It's been a long time and I can't say I really am looking forward to being a night-dweller again, but it will mean (hopefully) increased hours/money at work which are much needed. This also means I'll be doing GFC orders during the night as opposed to during the daytime so expect me to work on my crazy schedule. GYROS will continue to be updated after 11PM and I'll do my best to keep it as real time as possible. I also have a memo on GYROS asking you to Email me at GamesForCanada.com with the "GYROS Missing Order" Subject line if you don't see your order added to GYROS within 2 days of entering it as a DR or PF order. Thanks guys. I will keep you posted ;).

I placed two orders and I see the in GYROS saying extra money is needed to ship:

#1321 / 1950168393 - Crabgrass Killer, Insect Killer & Ant-B-Gone. Waiting for Items. Requires Additional Shipping $.

#1322 / 1547893860 - Nike iD Shoes (Custom JP Design). Item Ordered. Waiting for Item. Requires Additional Shipping $.

What's the next step here? Do I wait for an invoice to be sent to me regarding the additional amount needed or what?

J-P, glad you asked. The reason I put that there will be additional shipping due is that a few of those sites actually charged shipping to the USA which you hadn't included in your invoice. I did order them all though and should have them within a week or so (The Lowes ones I put "pick up in store" since they don't charge shipping that way). Once I have all the items then I will re-invoice you for the difference, but I can't do that until I actually have the items in hand. Also, the stores charge 6% Sales tax for CT residents, which I don't think you realized. I will send you all the invoices once I have the items, so no worries =) I will keep you posted. Thanks again! By the way, the shoes look really awesome!

** Quick GFC Update **

Well guys, I successfully completed my first night on the grave shift over at my poker dealing job. It's weird sleeping during the day and working in the late hours of the night, but I survived :). That being said, I am awake now and processing GFC orders at a rapid pace. I have a few big orders (21+ items) that are taking a bit of time, but other than that things are moving along quickly.

In case you are wondering, I now organize my Emails I receive in the following categories:

1) Direct Request Orders (DR)
2) Package Forwarding Orders (PF)
3) Estimates Only
4) GFC Questions

Nearly all Emails and form submissions follow into one of those categories. This helps me to keep the messages I receive very organized. In the past I had two folders for "Orders" and "Archive" but that got messy quickly. The new system is far easier to keep track of :)

Also, as you probably know the GYROS page is far more organized now as well. We are moving along and every week we come closer to our perfect system ^_^ We will continue to work and tweak it until everyone is happy. Thanks again for your support. Now back to invoicing & packing I go!

Great, I just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed the invoice or it was discarded as spam.

I have two more questions:

- Are you going to ship everything as one shipment or the Lowe's as one shipment and the Nikes as another?
- Would it be possible to order one more thing from Lowe's and have you add it to the Lowe's shipment?

Hi Goomba,

Was having issues with your site, finally got it working though.

You'll see more than one direct request for the same item from me, the last one is the correct one =)

I'll be forwarding a few items to you, and now that I have the hang of the form on the site, will be submitting a form for each order placed =D

Thanks again, and btw, as I mentioned before, if you haven't reached your goal for funds needed, lmk and I can do what I can!

Hi Goomba,

Just wondering what the status of my items are again (Peace Walker Big Boss PSP sent to 'Vancouver' address... not Waterloo ;p, return items, Kmart Bayonetta, and the Best Buy DR for Kino Blu-rays).

No rush, just wondering. :)

Hey guys, just got up after a few hours rest after my grave-shift dealing at the casino. My hours are still messed up and I haven't quite adjusted to the new sleep schedule, but I'm getting it day by day :) I will respond to all your Emails, PMs and messages here in the next hour or two. nb85, nothing crazy good but if you want a card for $37.00 USD we do have them available (takes about 5 days from the time you order). Let me know.

gsrce, not a problem. I realize the system still prematurely sends out Emails before the item is actually finalized in the system. I'm working on some new ways of processing the orders so that it only sends the Email AFTER you click to check out, but in the meantime don't worry. I'll just delete any duplicates. Thanks! As for my lawyer goals we didn't quite meet it yet, but we're getting close. Hoping to sell more items this week to catch up.

Znal, I will go respond to your question now :) Thanks.

Leshita, your Big Boss Bundle has shipped and I'm packing up Bayonetta (PS3) & your movies as well which just came in. I've also sent you an invoice with the past balance of adjustments and such. Hopefully we're all settled now with that :)

spike32, the site at the moment will only accept Credit Card payments which DO have the Paypal fees charged. Like you said, Paypal is strict about this so I can't do much else in the meantime. I'm working on alternative payment options and still looking into some new ways for you guys to check out. Appreciate it.

I got order #1337 :)

That went up on Gyros QUICK, thanks a lot. I sent you an email though, as requested, about a missing order.

Also... I'm at the point where I could REALLY use an update on the service charge credits I have. I'm positive it's dwindling, and I want to make sure I have enough to cover it in future orders (or pay it).

I used the form with the credit card payment for like the first time ever on order 1337, and it automatically included service charges. Please just put any and all service charges from that order as a credit towards shipping costs, which will no doubt be large. I should have a BIT of service charge credits left, and I'll sort the rest of it out, likely with another big batch or service credits - hopefully to put you a bit closer with all that up-front money to reaching what you need for the lawyer.

I actually saw on the news today that bankruptcies are sharply down because people at the moment largely can't even afford the necessary fees! It's absolute crazy that you can have a system where people can be TOO broke to file for bankruptcy... just wow.

Hi emjaymj, don't worry. On my side I manually edited your invoice to deduct from your existing Service Charges. So at the moment you have:

$4.00 Service Charge Credits remaining
$6.00 Store Credit remaining.

I applied the $10.00 or so that you were charged for service charges towards the approximate shipping of your items, so there shouldn't be anything else due for that order (unless it turns out to be heavier than I estimated). In any case you should be all set for now. Thanks again!

That's crazy about bankruptcies but yeah it's true. Coming up with $2500+ when you're not allowed to use any form of credit card and you still have to pay your existing bills is TOUGH. We're almost there though :).

I'm probably just really tired right now but is payment with a credit card the only payment method I can use right now or if using non-cc paypal can I just send you some more money to cover those fees?

Also I know you can't accept gift anymore but did they mention anything about "other" as that will also not charge you any fees either?

Actually I think it was $20, as I'm pretty positive it dinged me another $10 because of the $5 fee for everyone $150.

No idea how that makes everything work out though...

Also, I sent you an email about a really unusual order. Not sure how you'll feel about it :) Let me know!

Also... for anybody that's interested:

I got an email from Gamestop (US), they're having a pre-owned 342 sale (buy 2, get 1 free / 3 for the price of 2). It applies to USED games and accessories.

I BELIEVE Goomba has an edge card (but don't take my word for it), which would give you an additional 10% off. I'm sure there are some good deals to be had.

gsrce, yes I do have an Edge card. Just remember guys that Gamestop charges 6% Sales tax which largely negates the Edge discount. Thanks!

Wow, 6% sales tax in CT? With the HST now in full effect here in Ontario, pretty much everything is 13% tax(sales+provincial tax) including gas which was already taxed prior to the HST so now if you want to fill up, you're paying a tax on top of a tax :hot:

Plus there's this "eco" tax here too, its kinda like a recycling fee when you buy things that contain hazardous components like electronics. Yep, can't avoid the tax man here.

edit: Goomba, have you've looked at google checkout as an alternative for paypal? I don't know much about it but I would hope it would be a more viable option. As a ebay seller, I really dislike paypal but its the best/safest option at the moment. eBay+paypal fees eat up so much of the auction price that I can't believe a real competitor hasn't stepped up by now. I hope that google checkout or something similar with lower fees becomes more widely adopted.

blackric, I actually do take Google Checkout though it's a lot slower from what I've seen (takes 2-3 days to clear and it goes directly into my bank account rather than being available immediately) but yes it is an option. I was under the impression that there were limitations with Canadians using it, but maybe they have removed these types of restrictions? I'll definitely look into it further :). I'm off to work now. Thanks guys!
