Hey Goomba, I just realized I ordered the wrong size shoes from nikeID.com (I ordered size 10 instead of 12, I have no idea what I was thinking). I'm going to order a new pair in the correct size but I was wondering how you wanted to handle the return?

 

According to the nikeID website (http://help-en-us.ni...id/29787/p/3897) their products can be returned for any reason with 30 days of shipping so that's not a concern. What I was wondering is if you wanted to initial the return process or is that something I should do?

 

I figured it would be easier to do this now as opposed to waiting for the shoes to be shipped to me and then return them.

 

It says it can take 1 or 2 billing cycles for the money to be refunded so I assume I would just get the money for that pair refunded (less any fees) after you get it credited back to your credit card. Is that correct?

 

Sorry about the hassle with this, I really don't know how I messed up on something this obvious.

Glad to hear you guys got your items quickly and safely :) I'm still in a little bit of a tizzy over the iTunes scammers (still feeling the pain from that) but things are slowly recovering on our end. Hopefully we'll get some new customers/orders to come our way and dig us out completely ^_^. Appreciate all of your support. Hi JamesX, sorry if you didn't see I added your items to GYROS a few days back. Once they're in, I'll let you know ^_^.

Also, I've been focusing a lot on getting packages out, but I'll be adding a bunch of new items to the rewards store this week as well as I'm photographing for eBay auctions and such. Kill two birds with one stone :) Eventually there will be enough rewards in there that there'll be something for everyone. Remember that you can always offer lower prices for our rewards if they seem too high. Thanks again guys!

cruk, no sales tax for Amazon or NewEgg unless you buy from a 3rd party seller that's located in Connecticut (CT). Thanks!

Good news everyone, nearly all un-shipped items are in (except pre-orders of course) so over the next couple of days we should get all current GYROS orders either shipped or status updated. It's funny how orders always seem to come in groups and bundles.  As always, you will receive an Email with a tracking ID number once your item ships.  Thanks again for all of your ongoing support! Tanelorn, generally yes.  As long as they allow you to ship to any US address, then you'll be all set.  Good luck to you!  Just please keep in mind that only GFC Premium members can use the package forwarding (PF) option.  You can wait to see if you win though and then sign up afterward :).

ZCG,  Thanks so much!  We're a really, really small little business (one person technically lol) but we've shipped thousands of packages over the last few years =) Every bit helps!  We don't advertise so word of mouth is all we have.  Appreciate it!

Actually, it wasn't an hypothetical question, I did actually win a contest. I registered for future use maybe, but for the moment, I needed a solution... FAST and the Premium members PF service being handled manually (as I understood it), didn't seem fast enough for me. But the DR service might be usefull someday.

Oh OK Tanelorn, I didn't realize that by the way you phrased it =). Just so you know, in the future you can contact me directly at JJParks AT Improcomics DOT org and I will respond a lot faster than in this thread.  Sorry about that but I hope to help you out in the future with DR orders anyhow.  The processing of the PF system is actually done all automatically on our site just so you know from the estimate, the shipping and all of that.  We have to physically process the package shipping manually of course, but all of the financial stuff is done through our automated web system.  Hope that makes sense.  Thanks again and talk to you soon.

There is no information regarding it on Gyros. I paid by $69.50 via paypal on September 26th.

Quick update for you guys.  i have like 12 orders on GYROS now and about 6 of them came in almost simultaneously.  I'll be working on packing/invoicing those today and tomorrow and I'll keep updating new orders that haven't been added on there yet also.  Thanks again for your support :).  Keep in mind that next month is the famous (infamous?) Black Friday event with major retailers so that'll be here before you know it.  Thanks!

** Amazon Sales Tax in CT ... Say it Isn't So! **

 

Today is a sad day.  Amazon and all it's affiliated sites (Shopbop, Zappos, Audible, etc.) will now be charging 6.35% Sales Tax in my home state of Connecticut.  I've spent probably hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years on this site (not just for me personally of course) so it's always been the cheapest place to buy items especially with free shipping, and such.  Starting November 1st (which already passed obviously) they will now add 6.35% Sales tax to all orders.  Please keep this in mind when ordering Direct Requests (DR) orders through us as Black Friday and the Christmas shopping season is quickly approaching.  Bummer!  Feel free to look into alternatives like Buy.com or others that are not physically located in CT and therefore do not have to charge the tax (yet).

** Quick Update **

Just letting you guys know we're pretty much all caught up with all orders that have come in now.  We'll be doing daily GYROS updates all week for PF/DR orders and doing a few little site updates as well.  I'm trying to clean out some storage space so I'll be pretty busy with that, but I'll respond to all Emails and orders as per usual.  Thanks again for your ongoing support =) Every bit counts!

** Black Friday is Almost Here! **

 

Just a friendly reminder that you should sign up for GFC Premium if you plan on using Package Forwarding (PF) services for the upcoming Black Friday sales.  Due to the quick sellout rates of most online stores, we don't recommend Direct Requests for BF sales as I more than likely will not be able to get them in time.  Being able to order on your own and ship to us gives you a lot better chance at snagging some real deals =).  Thanks again guys and keep in touch if you have any questions!

Well, Goomba, thanks to the utter inanity of the Global Shipping Program that eBay is pushing incredibly hard on its U.S.-based sellers, constantly attempting to apply import charges on a class of items that does not even have duties applied to it for export into Canada (video games), looks like I will be using your service again :).

OK so we survived Black Friday and Cyber Monday.  I should have all current DR orders finished by tomorrow (for items received) or at least by Saturday/Sunday.  For new PF orders we'll be processing them throughout the week and doing another pickup of PF orders on Thursday tentatively.  Thanks for all of your support guys! ^_^.
