I think it might be a good idea if we have a daily thread dedicated to discussing the results of the CAG-O-Matic overnight price tracker. Any user can start the thread each morning. I think the price tracker updates at 6AM (maybe its 7AM now, i'll check).

Gamefly has Halo 2 USED for $35 and Street Fighter Anniversary USED for $15.

I've noticed Gamestop has a few price drops

R&C I and II, as well as Jak II are $15

All good deals, but if anyone is trying to choose between R&C 1/2 or Jak 2....get either of the R&C's. Jak 2 just isnt as, well, fun.

What I'm still waiting for is X-Men Legends. The Price-Tracker shows $44.99 currently at Gamestop. :(
I might pick up R&C 2; anyone know if prices are the same in B&M?
I know R&C 1 is the same. Last time I worked though (Tuesday), R&C 2 was still $20. If you have a GS nearby, give them a call.

Ratchet and Clank is sooooo good (the whole series . . . one of the best reasons to still own a PS2) . . . I'm playing Up Your Arsenal now . . . it displaced everything else!

I got UYA for under $20 with a Target raincheck :)
how is the condition of the gamefly games? anyone buy from there?
They are supposedly very good and you guaranteed the box and manual, which have been reported to be in very good condition as well.

I wholeheartedly agree with you there. I've recommended the series to every person I know who owns a PS2 and they all ignore me for whatever reason. I don't know what it is about the series that can't seem to attract more people to play it... Even a $20 GH price can't seem to do the trick. Maybe $15 will? :?
Those are good deals - I picked them all up already during the 2 for 25 EB sale...
Same. I've always been a fan of Insomniac... at least since their excellent Spyro games.

I'm guessing most people would likely consider the R&C games kiddy. Yep, a game with guns can be kiddy.

On a side note, I'm grabbing R&C: UYA on friday.

The box and Manual have never been used....so they come mint. And the discs have been through a scratch cleaner and come without a scratch....I buy from them all the time.

Sorry for the n00b-esque question but what's the deal with "scratch cleaners"? Data is pressed onto the disc isn't it.. Are scratch cleaners purely cosmetic? Would it be the same as buying it new?

I've just played the first one, but it is definetly one of my favorite games on the PS2.

You know, I thought about that before... It's kind of sad that people would overlook the game just because it looks kiddy. It's not like it's overly kiddy anyway. If anything, it's almost like an in-joke to combine that look with the over-the-top shooting. Of course, it's not Conker; it still embraces its kiddyness rather than ridicule it. But there's so much more fun and depth to it... I don't know...I'm preaching to the choir here...I'll shut up now.

I have the second one. Got it at that GTASA/GH $55 sale, even though I paid a lot less than that. Still haven't played it yet. I have so many sealed games :( Should I play the first before the second?

Definitely play the first before the second. The second one was a big step up from the first, although when I played the first I didn't think it was possible to improve on it much. If you begin with the second one you might be disappointed in the first. In terms of story, you won't miss out on too much if you do decide to go with the second one as a starter; the two stories are quite separate, although you may want to play the first game just to know how Ratchet and Clank meet and become partners.
