Penny Shipping + Sale at CompUSA = Some good deals

Just wait till this Satursday for Buy 2 get 1 Free (Make the deal sweeter) but I endup have BB pricematch instead driving 45 mins to compusa.
 
Wait for Sunday and they'll have $5 videogames with instant rebates and instant gift cards that they will cash out for you on the spot. A friend who works at CompUSA told me about it and says she is surprised at the prices she saw and the fact that they will let you get cash back on the spot for the gift card.

I want to know too if the sunday deal is true, most likely it will be a bunch of crappy games, but one can always hope.

I received an email from CompUsa; the same flyer posted here. It seems the Buy 2 get 1 sale is on. Actual selection will vary by store. My store here is pretty good - about the same as Target as far as number, but they also don't get hit as hard by shoppers, so they sometimes have older, harder-to-find releases, as well as the usual selection of big titles.

My friend (a cashier at CompUSA) said at the morning meeting that there was a huge ass list, but not that she could get her hands on. She said some of the guys were freaking out by what was on it and that some of the stuff wasn't all that old from what she heard. The manager did say they couldn't buy anything or put stuff aside until the store was open for customers, to give everyone a fair chance.

I wouldn't expect to get the lastest and greatest, CompUSA stock is never huge except for Halo2 - She said they had only 2 KOTOR2 left and that two guys were going to hang out at the door overnight to get them with the b2g1 offer... I rather pay $50 than to sit outside for 8 hours in cold weather. I might get there as they open, but no earlier than that!

Also on the B2G1; the fine print says one offer per household (don't try to get 6 games for the price of 4 if the manager wants to limit he can). Stock onhand (no ordering or rainchecks). She said the Sunday sale is to get the company on a footing where than can get more in to the videogame market and have good prices (clear up room for new stuff).

CompUSA's prices have been very decent latley - I got halo for suggested retail but also got a $10 gift card with it - same for Call of Duty. They're suppose to be getting a lot better on prices next year with this new plan they have; thats what they said at the meeting she went to.
