Yeah...still no list, BUT

CAGs have been mentioning lists received by stores and new price markings taking place. Its all a matter of us drilling employees for info or attaining the list.

Just noticed the Game days sale ad in the latest game informer. Last year's sale was pretty decent so its worth a thread. I'll try to post the ad and coupon later. Best part is the coupon doesn't say anything about being void if copied. No specifics yet on the sale.

"Hundreds of games and accessories up to 50% off"

Things to note:
- Should stack with edge (assuming there are used deals).
- Offer ends 6/30/08
- If you know the specifics, let us know!

Damn, my GS doesn't accept any printed coupons unless they're the website/email ones (and they know which ones are which). And my GI subscription ended just last month.

Oh well, hopefully there'll be some good deals regardless... hopefully, they're trying to get rid of their PS2/GC/XB stock.
 
Last year was cool. I'll keep an eye on this year.

Heh, maybe Rumble Roses XX will be $5 this year.

If I remember correctly, last year it was actually select new games that were 50% off. Some decent stuff too...RPG Maker 3 for $14.99, Champions: Return to Arms for $14.99, Popolocrois for $9.99, Shattered Union for $17.49. Hopefully this year they'll continue with some of the harder to find titles and also include some Wii games.

Why should there be a catch? GameStop has plenty of deals all the time, and as others have mentioned, some of the ones in last year's event were good.

Actually there is no catch. GS is just clearing out their last gen inventory to make room for the current gen. They did it last year too and I scored some major deals on brand new PS2 games. I'm totally stoked for this sale!

Don't quote me, but from what I remember from last year's sale it was primarily last gen, but not exclusively. I remember getting Quake 4 for the 360 brand new for $14.99. Condemned was the same price as well but I didn't buy it. They should have signs up for what will be on sale in the store. I also got Dragon Quest VII (PS2) for $14.99, Musashi (PS2) for $9.99, and Castlevania (PS2) for $9.99 all brand new from last year's sale. It's definitely worth it and hectic so get in early on the first day and you'll score some major deals.

Anyone else remember what they got last year?

For those still wondering this IS in the GH4 issue - I don;t think is aw anyone else mention that.

I was just about to get rid of my issue, too. Glad I saw this and looked through it again!

Not again - I spent about $120 on this sale last year and had gaming and gifts for a good few months.

As I recall I picked up:

:ps2: Champions of Norrath: Return to Arms (x3) 14.99
:pc: Starcraft Battle Chest 9.99

along with some other titles; can't remember which at the moment. This happened last year at about the same time Odin Sphere was released - I remember getting their last sealed copy.
