I have the oiginal xbox but i do not have the remote control that comes with it. is there any way to still watch a dvd, I only have the thing that plugs in
 
You can get one of those logitech harmony remotes to work with it but it is just cheaper to buy a used remote from EB games or Gamestop.
 
you can get the remote and a new plug in for about 5 bucks shipped from amazon.com's market place....I am sure ebay is just as cheap.
