Dont know if there is a thread on this yet * there is a wii one in that section *

But is there a master list that shows all gamecube games that support progressive scan and widescreen?

I've got an excel spreadsheet I downloaded last year, here somehwere. It lists 480p, 16x9, and Dolby ProLogic/ProLogic 2 capable games.

Give me a day or so.

I can not say for certain that it is all-encompasing, but it certainly seems to have a lot of games listed:

Incidentally, can anyone verify that Resident Evil 4 is progressive but *not* 16x9 on the Gamecube, yet is progressive *and* 16x9 on the PS2 (the also have a listing for PS2 games)?

Also, i started playing Tales Of Symphonia on the wii with component cables, and the game seems to be widescreen, but can anyone confirm if its widescreen 480p?

could just be me, but the game looks stretched on my samsung 1080p tv and the game has a alot of jaggies and fuzzy images.

Resident Evil 4 on the GameCube is progressive scan, but letterboxed and not true 16x9 widescreen.

The game screen fits on a full screen display with black bars on top and bottom, so on a widescreen set, use the zoom 1 function to fill up the entire widescreen. Because it's not native 16x9 widescreen, there are obvious jaggies. Can't complain though, the game still looks and plays great! If it appeared on original Xbox, it would shadow the current Gen material.
Now Playing in HD, Progressive Scan, Widescreen, 5.1 DPLII & Dolby Digital, and online or LAN whenever possible.

I have the list available [e]No longer available.

Games that are 16x9
Games that are 480p
Games that use Dolby ProLogic
How many players each game supports

I got it last year, should still be nearly current. :)

(Ok, not really, there's only 231 games listed.)
