I recently acquired component cables for my Gamecube. They're connected and working fine but I can't get any audio. I have my previous Monster s-video cable still hooked up to the GC and figured the audio would still work the same with the video signal outputting to the comp cables. I'm getting nothing, though. Do I have to change a setting on the GC? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Make sure you have the audio cables hooked into the right spot on your TV. Maybe the component jack you have it in now uses a different set of audio jacks?

(Not to sound like I'm talking down, but I don't know enough to know what you know. You know?)

Have you ever had a situation where you couldn't figure out what the problem was but as soon as you discussed with someone it immediately became ridiculously obvious how to fix it?

This.

Thanks, ICB, problem solved.:D I have 7 different components hooked up to my home theater and it can get a little confusing sometimes.
