CAG Foreplay #56: We're Back! A Shipwreck Story

I also get a kick out of what I interpret as the slight digs by Mrs. Ship at Ship about his buying games...gotta wonder what type of conversations that might be when then mic isn't on, LOL!

Loved the intro! Especially how you both were so proud of the intro line, oblivious to the fact Mrs Ship said the wrong episode number. Classic.
Amazon shipping is quite random. Once I ordered a hdmi cable and a game at the same time, using super saver shipping. The cable arrived less than 24 hours later... the game took eight days. They both were listed as being shipped on the same day.

I like the slightly adjusted format. Keeps things brisk and allows you to talk about the games the two of you are clearly interested in, while keeping discussion of shovelware and MOTS titles blissfully short.
BTW, "that girl from The Wizard" is actually Jenny Lewis, who grew up to be a very talented and successful rock star in the band Rilo Kiley and on her own. You should check out her first solo album, Rabbit Fur Coat. It's awesome -- kind of alt-country ala Wilco with a bit of soul mixed in.

But even if not, I liked the show, it was fun and good to hear you back. And as ajm1240 pointed out above, you're pretty keyed in already, so on all but the most blantant of crap you still know some things (I'm looking at you games that end in Z.)
Thanks for the fun show, the time I spent trimming the bushes just flew by!

Man, I must be completely nuts, Fable II just isn't holding my attention. I put it down and I don't feel a big draw to go back. It's weird, usually I fall in love with games like it, so I'm not sure what's going on now. Oh well, my hand's all screwed up right now anyway and it hurts to hold my 360 controller, so I'm not sweating it too much but one day, I hope that I want to go back and play it.
The diabetes game you were talking about is Captain Novalin. I'm sad that I know that.
