Seems there are no longer any reason to buy games the first few days they come out

got to wonder how long it will take to see Luminous Arc 2 and chrono trigger to come crashing down in price

wow... clean this up a little bit, please. like includin' "DS" in the title, as well as appropriate prices... and since i'm not a DS owner, someone tell me, is any of this a deal?

I may pick up Wild Arms at that price. It honestly doesn't seem as appealing as the other games in the series, and I don't even have my PSP yet, but I've enjoyed every other WA game I've played so far so I hope it's worth it.

it's about time Wild Arms XF dropped to $20. I've been slightly curious about this game for a while now. Does anyone know if it's any good? Good story/character design?
Is Neverland Card Battles any good?
its nothing like yu gi oh

your people move on a map. each piece of map you own gives you 1 mana ... you need mana to pull out cards and to keep them on your field

so if you control 8 spots on the map you can play a card that cost 8. BUT say you lose some of that land that card then goes back into your hand

you have to pay the cost of the card each turn , meaning you must control at least that much land to keep them in play. The other cards can move around getting land pts as well

Guess i paid 14.86 for my copy 2 weeks back.

Its an okay game for 14 bucks but i would of never paid 30

rented it off gamefly

First battle easy
Second battle easy
3rd battle SOB HARD cause the person you fight can pull out massive cards that kil you and you have to get to them before they can gain the land needed

another way different from yu gi oh

say a yu gi oh card is 1500/1200 meaning it has 1500 attack and 1200 def.....

this game what makes the 3rd boss so freaking hard his monsters are like

1 hp
7 damage pts

yours are like 2 hp 2 or 3 damage pts.

meaning hes is weak but he will take out all of your monsters since they both hit at the same time

I actually was not able to finish the game. I've beaten pretty much every SRPG under the sun too. The battles became so stringent on what units you had to have and what strategy you needed to follow, and then even with a faq I still couldn't do a mission where: I couldn't kill any bad guys the first few rounds (including non controllable counters), then when the gate opened none of my party members could die and I was timed to get through the gate. Tried for a few hours and said fuck it.

I will be picking up Rhapsody though, I've been waiting for a price drop. Thanks.

Exactly how I felt. WHile the gameplay was solid and everything was as fast and smooth as any SRPG i've seen, everything was so tedious. From the constant changing of classes, to having to reequip everytime you change a class, to search, and synthesizing. Just got bored after about 10-15 hours. Might still be worth a shot at around $20.

Crazy prices, there truly is no need to buy games when they first come out now. I'll be getting Rhapsody eventually its just that I have so much other stuff to buy and play right now, good thing I have money rolling in from holiday ebay sales!

I will probably get Rhapsody that game sounded really cool and cute, but I wasn't sure if I really wanted to pay full price for it. At $20 I'm very tempted.
