Dunno about you guys but I'm tired of getting yanks offer me MS points and Xbox Live codes despite my post informing them they WILL NOT WORK. Not sure how European codes are...

Basically, XBLA and DLC codes will work across regions (with the exception of Bejeweled 2 and apparently DOOM) but point, Live and XBLO codes will not. So here's a thread just for us, if you've got any promotional :360: or :ps3: codes then get swapping.

You know the drill, list now comes with more football of the American persuasion.

DISCLAIMER
As far as I'm aware, most Xbox Live MSP, Time and Originals codes will not work across regions, however content such as Arcade games and DLC will, with the exceptions of Bejeweled 2, (allegedly) DOOM, UMK 3 and Puzzle Fighter (due to the UK database being silly).
Some Amazon codes can be difficult to work with too, although a dummy US account circumvents the problem for arcade games.
Also, I've observed that codes for one month can usually be internationally redeemed.
Unless otherwise stated, codes are believed to be region free.

What kind of moneys would you/friend want for a fireball hog? Sounds stupid but i kinda want it even to just go ooh ahh :(
 
Well the lowest that exploitative berks on eBay want is £4.50 but I'm not gonna try to rip you off over a Warthog with a different skin. I'm not Capcom! ;D

That being said, since they were pre-order only (he works in a game shop) they are kinda hard to get hold of now so, idk, £3?

I think Paypal would try to take a charge though, and I don't have a personal account or the means to create one. Any way round that?
 
Eh, I've acquired a spare Flamehog code, just have it. PMing it now.
Prices on eBay are a joke now for what is essentially a skin edit, I can't be bothered trying to find a price for the one I have.

Pretty much although a little post in here isn't all bad, still highlights HDfsise wants BK.

Don't have the codes yet. Gonna have to remove FEEFAH, I won it off Acey but have no interest in the franchise so Acey's swapping it.

Where do people come across codes? Only ones I've ever got were ones I paid for (like GTA) or ones that came free as pre-order bonuses or whatever. Where are people getting codes to download XBLA games?
 
All UNO codes sold off, UNO Rush and Lara's Shadow won off Twitter.

Would anyone happen to have one of them £3 ShopTo codes hanging around that they don't need?

Don't think there ARE any Bejeweled 2 codes other than the ones off the US Amazon shop. However, a code will work from there, Arcade codes work across regions so you could poke around the US thread or try to get someone to buy Bejewled 2 for you if you Paypal 'em the $10. If they have a Personal Paypal there's no tax, so I've been led to believe.

That said you should probably just look for an Arcade Unplugged disc, you can get that dead cheap now and it comes with 1 month's Gold sub as well as six Arcade games.

Have to disagree with the sticky thing. Over time as Cheap -Arse- Gamer becomes more of a place of it's own right a British/European-centric trading scene will probably take off, but for now this portion of CAG simply isn't big enough to warrant it.
 
i used to know that XBLA Games codes were REGION FREE (as points AND subscriptions are NOT... instead) but it seems that Bejeweled 2 makes an exceptions from this general rule. Maybe i'm wrong
of course i wont pay 10$ something for it... cmon, it's been around for ages

why shouln't be any Bejeweled2 codes around?!?

Yeah apart from Exu noone else has even brang any codes to the table etc so I don;t thinkit is worth a stick either. In other news:

I've never seen any Bejeweled 2 codes given away anywhere, as I said you should probably just get that disc. No DRM then either woop woop.

Lol to you indeed. Well, that's HD Remix and my BK gone, ended up trading for a 2100 card off-site. My friend's got a few new bits and bobs in, first post updated.

Only think I could add to that Brawler costume pack is a Trivial Pursuit code for videogame questions, only works in the US. Take it or leave it.

Sure it's Euros? The sign a £ or a €?

If anyone happens to get a Ryo-F code for Sonic & Sega ASR that they'll trade then let me know, I'm going to end up getting the game anyway but I don't intend to fork over £30 for it.
 
I don't suppose anyone has (or will have) a "Super Classic Pack" code for Super SFIV they don't want?

Being cheap, I pre-ordered from ShopTo instead of Game, figuring that the pre-order costume pack would be the first one available like last time. Of course as it turns out, they're saving that pack until last this time round.

I don't want to wait 2 months for my pink Blanka costume!
 
I wouldn't bother, they'll release them all as a big pack in July anyway.

Of course they're all already on the disc so should be avoided like the plague. Hell, I only got the original complete pack as I had a ton of promo points.
