I picked up a Game Boy Player at GameStop for $10. Not too bad. I hooked it up to one of my Game Cubes and it's a Final Fantasy IV machine for now :D
 
Got the Last BlazBlue LE Available at Gamestop in San Diego!
Traded in 6 games got $54, Paid about $10 Out of Pocket!

Also bought Skies of Arcadia Used Complete for $13
 
sigh just got hit HARD with news from my financial aid award. they basically only gave me money for books, but my parents still cant afford to give me money for tuition.

looks like my next and last pick up will be MVC2 via gameshare for $3.

Resistance was behind the glass and the checkout counter on the very bottom shelf. It's a good thing I was looking in the case for something else or I would've never saw them. EoJ was marked 69.98, but I had heard it was a clearence item from the TRU thread, so I did a price check and scored another bargin.

Heard from someone else that this was marked $23.99 in their store, so while looking for a cheap RE5:CE I looked this up as well and it was surprisingly the same price at my store. Picked it up for $13.99 with the $10 off Rewardzone coupon. Sadly I just found out there are no trophies in the game, so I'm thinking about returning it.

I finally found a HWV that wasn't attached to a Game Crazy, hence they had the $4.99 sale. Mostly crap titles, though, as it had been picked over several times. I tried to pick up :360: Spider-Man 3 for my brother, but the employee couldn't find the disc. Now i've just gotta print out covers for all of these.

I finally picked up Okami. I'm a bit of idiot for paying full price, but this was at the start of the day, and remember, I didn't think I was buying much else. The Prey limited edition was a pretty sweet find, as it included all the bonuses except the pewter figures. I bought Opoona last month from another GS, but it was a gutted copy. I've been asking all the other GS's if they had a sealed one, and I found one today, so I exchanged my copy. The manager told the employee to "just trade the copies" meaning I didn't get a new receipt and I don't have thirty days to return it. I wasn't gonna return it anyway, but it kinda burns me up they way they handeled the situation.

Went to Target with my mom and brother today. I went to the clearance games pretty much immediately to see what they had. I passed up :DS: Death Jr., mostly because they had so many copies. Also passed up :360: Prince of Persia, becuase it's still in the upper region of $40, and no one's gonna buy it at that price. It'll drop more soon. Picked up Secret Agent Clank, though, because I've heared good things about it. Oddly enough, I've never played a Rachet and Clank game :lol:

The free Wii Sports Resort story isn't that interesting. My mom bought it for me (and the rest of the family :p) when I wasn't looking. I wasn't planning on buying it at full price, but it's nice when someone does it for you.

I've been intregued by Hybrid Heaven ever since I saw it in the pages of Nintendo Power back in the heady days of the N64. Also, I own a manual for it for some reason, so now all I need is a box. Rayman 2 is one of my favorite games, so I'm looking foreward to playing the original. The Grinch is for my brother, he loved the movie for some reason and he's been bitching about not being able to find the game. The two CIB NES games were a pretty awesome find, I'll probably go back tomorrow to snatch up the remaining five or six.

Thus far, I've picked up 2-4 things from GS with some cheap credit I had from the FNR4 deal. All are mint/complete, unless noted.

I picked up both MGS4 and SH Homecoming via the 25% off coupon for about $30 something TOTAL. I ended up picking up Monopoly for about $25, but I'm annoyed that it doesn't have ONLINE PLAY.

I mean, it's a social board game, why no online play EA?

Ahhh well....

I also picked up a PS1/PS2 to PS3 controller adapter. It's some el cheapo brand that's just basically a USB cable at one end and 2 PS1/PS2 ports at the other. It works with a PSone Dual Shock 1, but not with a PS2 Dual Shock 2. If I can get assurances that the Pelican ones work with both, I'd gladly pay the premium and get one, since they supposedly work with some PS3 games as well.

I think I've spent more money on games in August then the rest of the year combined. Nothing really special or rare, but games I have been looking to play for a while nonetheless so I took advantage of the gamestop 25% coupon:

I picked up Untold Legends: Dark Kingdom and Battlefield: Bad Company with some more of my cheap GS credit, though that was after returning Monopoly since it didn't even have an online play option.

I may pick it up again if EA adds it in, even if it's through a download from the PSN store, but otherwise it'd be me against the computer and if the computer cheats as bad in this version as the old PS1 and Genesis versions of Monopoly then it's not even worth it.

Very jealous. I'm trying to find as many as I can without resorting to finding them online. So far, I've only found vol.s 1 and 9, and I got vol. 2 from a fellow CAG.
 
Stopped by a Hollywood Video today that had all of its PS1 Games (only 5 were left) for $0.25.

I know you don't want to get them online, but I picked the mangas on Amazon with their buy 3 get the 4th free promo. Not sure if that is going on and $7.99 per volume is a bit pricey, but I love Dr. Slump way too much, lol

The only reason I don't want to buy them online is because I don't have a credit card or a bank account.

I'm a big Toriyama fan in general. I have almost all of Dragon Ball and all the one shots they released here. I also have Chrono Trigger and I bought Blue Dragon because of his involvement in it.

Got a great pickup last night - a Japanese art book titled Devil May Cry Graphic File for $5.00, marked down from $45.00. The cover was kind of grubby, but the dirt was easy enough to clean off. There's also a fair amount of shelf wear. Can't go wrong for $5, though!

(Also, if anyone's in the NYC area, I got it at Forbidden Planet. They still have one copy left in one of their upstairs clearance sections. And sorry I didn't take a pic, but here's what it looks like.)

Nothing else too exciting last night save for a Gurren Lagann cell phone strap (with the skull logo) for $7.99.

Oh yeah, and I've bought some DS games this month as well; all bought new, and all stuff that is or is going out of print. The latter three are currently on their way from Amazon.
