Alright, I bought all three Fatal Frame games from the deal posted in the deals section. I'm playing the first game now, and it's (obviously) English. However, I just came across a puzzle that's still in Japanese, and according to 1:17 of this video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nE9XCuUK65U ...it shouldn't be. Fortunately, it's just numbers, so this one should be pretty easy to figure out, but I'm worried that more puzzles will be in Japanese and I won't be able to complete the game. Has anyone seen or heard of this before?

lol jk, never played the game, but it sounds like a glitch to me.

I'm guessing your talking about Fatal Frame 1 for playstation 2(even though video show a xbox version judging by their save at 5:04 mark). It's not a glitch. I recall seeing Japanese numbers in ps2 version as well. Maybe, it's just that ps2 version? But puzzles in this game are fairly easy to solve if you read the letters(most of them are bold color).

I might've figured out what the problem is. I just read a piece of scrap paper that translates all the symbols, though it was already in my inventory, and even though it was labeled "New", the fact that I already had it means it's been read once before. I don't really see why it would translate the symbols the second time you read it. I want to check and see if it worked, but I'm too scared to go back to the door with the puzzle on it :lol:

Are you talking about the clock puzzles?
The top of the wheel is Zero. To the left is 1, and so on
counter-clockwise, until 9, which is to the immediate right of Zero.

^ Yeah, those ones, though now I know it's supposed to still be in Japanese. I don't really know why they only changed it for the Xbox version...
