Heat

8/10

Way too long with unnecessary scenes and it's aged quite a bit. But still, top notch acting by both Pacino and Deniro

saw Alex Cross yesterday. I'd give it 5.5/10. Matthew Fox did a GREAT job with his character but overall the movie lacked suspense.

I think I'm going to see Sinister some time in the next few days. I am glad that a "R" rated horror movie has come out this year.

The DCAU movies are great even though there are a few stinkers (namely Doomsday).

I remember not watching X-Men as a kid because the animation was so ugly. Just couldn't do it when Batman looked so much nicer. Spider-Man also looked pretty decent, but X-Men looked gross :-P

I just wished DC did all their animated shows in the style of Batman/Justice League/Young Justice instead of some of the other junk they're doing (like Green Lantern).

well the animation in Green Lantern is very off putting but honestly once you can swallow that ginormous horsepill. I'm such a fan of GL that i stuck it out and actually the show is not bad.

As a kid I never really thought X-Men TAS was all that ugly though I did prefer Spider-Man and Batman too.

Not everyone needs to look like a 16 year old girl cosplaying a 16 year old boy, every-Japanese-artist-ever.

I keep trying to watch Green Lantern but I just can't get over the look.

Superman was also good, and thinking about it makes me wonder why there hasn't been another Superman series since.

The show is good, it actually covers lesser known GL history. The animation style is just awful though, that's the only thing I don't like about it.

Pretty good movie. Made me feel like I was watching/playing Dead Space 1/2. I guess that's why I thought it was a good movie, since I enjoyed both Dead Space 1 and 2 I just made it seem like I was watching a Dead Space movie.

. If you like the space sci-fi/horror genre, aside from the obvious ones like Alien/Aliens, there's also Event Horizon.

I never thought this movie was as good as everyone else seems to think. It's just cheap b-movie thrills in a shiny space suit, an artsy-fartsy version of Doom.

If you want to see a good movie, Solaris blows it out of the water.

Sure, but the scene where they see the ship's log still freaks me out to this day.

I finally managed to watch Game Change this weekend and boy, does it manage to really humanize the big players in the McCain campaign. Kinda weird seeing Julianne Moore debate with Biden though...haha.

I have to say, the way that they had to deal with Palin's lack of knowledge in the movie is about how I'd imagine it happening.

So Halloween 3 is the most interesting one in the series..... Probably because the guy in the hockey mask wasn't in it.

Fixed, and I still need to watch that one. Have to say I'm a big fan of Halloween 2 though. Hospital interiors are creepy enough well lit and the pacing is faster.

No fun, you made it correct. 3 is just so weird and out there which made me enjoy it.

I saw Sinister the other day and I really wasn't that impressed. I thought it took to long to build up and then when it started to get interesting it was over. The last 10 minutes just felt rushed and about halfway through I know what was going to happen. I didn't think going in that I had any expectations at all, but maybe I did and they were to high. The movie wasn't bad I just felt it could have been so much better had the pacing been better or the ending not seem so quick. I may pick it up if I can find it for less than 10 bucks on BluRay. I would give the movie a 7 out of 10.

The Nightmare Before Christmas. Always watch it around this time of year.

Event Horizon. Hadn't watched it in years, and my girlfriend had never seen it. Still enjoy it for the B movie, sci-fi horror cheese that it is.

I've been trying to watch some scary movies but damn they seem to all suck. I think I lost that ability to get scared by movies now. Anyways, saw hansel and gretal (korean) and it was okay. 3/5 i guess. Tale of two sister (korean) was really boring. I had to turn it off after an hour or so. I just couldn't do it. Moss (korean) seemed interesting but again it was too boring. Not even a scary movie really. I really need to find something to watch this halloween.

^Trick r Treat is a great halloween movie, not scary though. Why is it almost all the older horror movies people praise aren't scary? I watch them and then feel a tad let down.

The Artist - I enjoyed it, but I can't see myself ever watching it again.

The Fifth Element - Haven't seen this in almost five years despite the fact it's one of my favorite imaginative science fiction stories. Still awesome. And still Milla Jovavich at her best.

Most people are desensitized at this point.

When people say the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre is scary I think they're crazy. I can see how it was scary back then, but now it looks so fake.

Just saw Silent Hill Revelations in 3D. It was better than I expected. I like how they tied in what happens between the two movies as well.
