PS3 Slim,Help?

Hello just wanted to know if this would warrant a return?

I purchased a PS3 Slim on November 10th (yes im a little pissed I didnt wait for the bundles) And occasionally I loose what would appear to be sync with the controller and what tends to be the solution to this issue is plugging the controller in with the charge cable and obviously after a little bit it is fine and unplug and enjoy..

What it does is all 4 lights on top flash and yes it is fully charged and it is assigned to "1" in the settings..

Any help or should I just return it... (WELL CANT RETURN IT SEEING fuckTARD GAMESTOP ONLY HONORS RETURNS ON FAULTY HARDWARE UP TO 7 DAYS WTF, TOLD ME ID HAVE TO GO THROUGH SONY) funny they asked me if I bought the PRP with it and I remember them never asking me if I wanted it but the recipt surely says "Warranty Not Purchased"


(Really wish Gamestop would honor sales within 30 days like most other stores do... Would of really liked 3 games free with the system, anyone know if the 3 games come packed inside the box like one Gametard employee claimed they did?)

Exact same thing happens to me, but I haven't even contemplated a return for something so minor. I wouldn't return it if I were you...same thing will prob happen with the new one.
 
Happens to me too and I just got my slim about 2 weeks ago. My old 60 gig died so I decided to finally upgrade. I'm not sure if this is a new problem with the slims or if it's due to firmware or whatever. This issue has only happened to me once though, so I'm not much of a help. I was using a white JPN DS3 controller btw, in case that helps at all.
 
Same here, got a 60gb and it loses connection about once every thirty minutes. I think it has something to do with a recent firmware update.
 
reading on neogaf.com makes it seem like this is a widespread problem due to the new firmware. whew.
 
Wow, glad I checked here. I was about to buy a new controller. My slim has been losing the sync to the controller alot lately. I didn't figure it was the firmware. I'll wait to see what sony (hopefully) fixes in the next firmware update.

Same, was getting very pissed off.

Glad (or rather not glad but happy I'm not the only one this is happening to) that it's a widespread problem.

We do, that GS employee is full of shit. 30 days on defective hardware. Either go to another GS or demand that the employee look it up on the back of the front cover of the monthly planner book.

Well thanks for the insight and I even thought that was a bit insane to only honor defective new hardware for 7 days when 99.9% of all other retailers at least give you 30 days..

But seeing this looks like a little issue with the recent update im going to hold out on returning it I guess.
