Hmm. Any early word on the Sega All-Stars Racing title? Googled it and the preview videos at sega.com give it a Diddy Kong-ish feel -- that is, multiple vehicle types (hovercraft, karts, so on) for different terrains. I'm willing to give it a whirl if it's a half-way decent karter.

Watched the previews below. Looks okay, though probably not one to get for the Wii. We'll see.

EDIT:

Where the hell is my Sin and Punishment 2 Nintendo? Whatever, Data East Arcade Classics, Tatsunoko VS Capcom, and Sky Crawlers are good enough for me.

Oh, and Mega Man 10, that will be epic. :P

In for Endless Ocean 2, Fragile, and Rooms at some point, but none of those will be day ones.

I didn't realize Mega Man 10 was being brought to DSiWare. I'm sure that was hard to port.

It isn't being brought to DSiWare.

List is disappointing. Nintendo should take those billions and make a bunch of start up studios to crank out software. No excuses.

In terms of DSiWare, I could see Nintendo double-charging for a game on both services. That would be enough of a reason to scare people away.

Does the ESRB require separate ratings per platform? That'd be another obstacle, since that costs a bit from what I understand.

I dunno. This whole thing is dumb. Nintendo needs to centralize the whole thing and make you have one account that accesses all sides of their platforms (which I assume the PSN works like). So Megaman 10 can be run on Wiiware and DSiWare, and you should be able to transfer is back and forth as needed between systems. Obviously there would be titles where this isn't possible, so it shouldn't be a requirement, but it would be a nice option to have. PSP Minis do this from what I understand.

Bleh.

PSN does it for the PSOne classics. They just started doing that with the Minis, though not all of them are like that currently. Eventually, they will all be playable on both PS3 and PSP though.

And yes, I totally agree that the Nintendo account should work with both the Wii and the DS. At the very least the points should be centralized instead of requiring you to lock them in to one or the other.
