[DEAD] Dawn of Discovery Wii $14.99 w/ FS at Newegg

Nice find. The DS version of the Anno series have been absolutely incredible. Very detailed, with a unique menu system, but not as overwhelming as Civilization.

This would be a great purchase if you are the kind of person who buys Civ but never finishes it.

As someone who's poured probably thousands of hours into Civ over the years, I can tell you that it's never finished. :D

That said, despite being a veteran Civ player I really enjoyed CivRev, so if this is a similar console streamlining, it could be fun.

Definitely tempting.

I almost picked it up via Amazon for, i think, $24.99 around Black Friday.

Ugh. Gotta hold out for a bit.
 
i haven't played the Wii version, but the DS version of the game is awesome. it's the DS game I've probably spent the most time playing in 2009 (although Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes may start giving it a run for its money). if the Wii version is anywhere near as good as the DS game, for $15 you must get this game if you are into the genre.
