Throw Halo 2 back in your disc tray [Giveaway of sorts]

i've heard of some people making accounts and doing this. they are apparently getting it as well. so the amount of effort still seems minimal.

I can't do it D: never had an original xbox so never bought halo 2.
 
I assume you need to be on a real (non-trial) Gold account for this, yes?

I actually just picked up Halo 2 the other week. It's $10 new at Bestbuy.
 
Tried to play tonight(about 230am cst) there wasn't enough people online to play big team battle, and everyone was just sitting in the lobby waiting for the "no more players needed" to move onto the next screen. Never happened. Gonna try again tomorrow afternoon.
 
I don't think it's safe to say you'll get it after playing an hour or two at all. I've heard it's for loyal players, not just anyone that plays the game.
 
I have my old one hooked up and have been playing on it. Only thing is I'm not into Halo 2 as much as I am MAG, COD MW(the first one don't care to play 2) and BFBC2. I will play Halo 2 some today but don't see me getting the points. I have not played that many games on it. I think I have less then 200 games.
 
I got the mssg thru XBOX LIVE... I did DL the map packs like 3 months or so ago but I never played a game of Halo 2 online... Nor did I really play it for the original XBOX...

I really think it's random and whether or not you DL'ed the map packs... my 2¢
 
I bought the game 2 weeks ago, a few days later I downloaded the free DLC.

I got into a free-for-all match. I got my ass handed to me. (I guess the people who are still playing are really good) So after dying 5 times in a row, I shut the game down. I was really only online for about 30sec - 1min.

4 days later, I got the email from Microsoft. The extended Live account took effect right away. I had to wait another 4 days before I got the message with the code to get the 400ms points.

Now I guess I just wait for the email with the Halo Reach beta.
