The implication is that the Obama administration refuses to call it an act of terror and refers to it as an episode of workplace violence. Hannity drops that little nugget almost twice an hour but I've never actually seen or heard anything in reality about it.

You said that you hadn't heard of it because you don't watch fox news. I simply demonstrated that your assertion was invalid as 1) it has gotten coverage from places other than fox news and 2) you could have gotten a full background on the situation with a 3.2 seconds of google search.

After having read that it seems that "workplace violence" wasn't used to actually describe the attack, but rather that the military though it needed to step up efforts to stop workplace violence. Also, it would seem that technically the shooting doesn't meet the definition of terrorism. The more you know...

It looks like it's a bit hard to classify, as one of the requirements for terrorism is that the victims are non-combatants. The issue that some of the victims have is that since they were not deployed it's not being treated as being injured or killed in the line of duty.

Personally, I think that it is closer to terrorism than 'workplace violence', but whatever.

so the Bush appointee deems it not terrorism and the next closest application in the rigid military manual is workplace violence. Luckily there's a black guy to blame it on!

I don't believe this was posted here.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) was less than willing to entertain questions Thursday on why he held a press conference Wednesday to complain about lack of information on the September attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, while simultaneously skipping a nearly two-hour classified briefing with administration officials about the investigation...

When CNN approached McCain in a Capitol hallway Thursday morning, the senator refused to comment about why he missed the briefing, which was conducted by top diplomatic, military and counter-terrorism officials. Instead, McCain got testy when pressed to say why he wasn’t there. “I have no comment about my schedule and I’m not going to comment on how I spend my time to the media,” McCain said.
Asked why he wouldn’t comment, McCain grew agitated: “Because I have the right as a senator to have no comment and who the hell are you to tell me I can or not?”

When CNN noted that McCain had missed a key meeting on a subject the senator has been intensely upset about, McCain said, “I’m upset that you keep badgering me.”

So uh, this is the latest one to pop up on yahoo...

Obama administration has spent $23 million of U.S. taxpayer dollars in Kenya to fund a “Yes” vote on a constitutional referendum scheduled for Aug. 4 that would increase access to abortions in Kenya and establish legal status for Islamic law tribunals, AKA Sharia Law...

Don't worry thinking about it. I don't want any of you to have an anyeurism or however you spell that.

To be fair, that guy could have tripped and fell as the video "evidence" is choppy and crappy and too hard to tell either way. Of course if you want to stand there and say that Crowder didn't instigate anything at all then you're a dick.

I heard Crowder on the Sean Hannity radio show the past few nights. It's a shame that he's getting air time and notoriety for walking into the event with a goal, achieving that goal, and using it to support his preconceived agenda.

On the first night he was on Hannity, he talked about how he was a trained wrestler (not exactly "fighting," but I digress, it's something) and all he wanted was something like "5 minutes locked in a raquetball court with union guys."

This is the political end that killed Dan Rather's CBS career, mind you.

Crowder is a troll and a pig with an agenda, and anyone exalting him, seeing how he is *manufacturing* news and not reporting it, should be ashamed.

Mike Crapo DUI: GOP Senator From Idaho Arrested In Virginia For Driving Under The Influence

http://www.huffingto..._n_2357148.html

Well we have several things going on here. First he was arrested for DUI. But really that is not a first for a politician on either aisle so I am not going to harp on the dangers of drinking and driving. What I WILL talk about is that this is a MORMON Senator from Idaho getting caught drinking and driving. I will wait to see how he handles that with the large Mormon population in his next run. Oh...hypocrisy...rabble rabble...does not practice what he preaches...derp derp.

Oh yeah... Someone named CRAPO is making our laws? Sounds about right actually.

Don't get to mad at him for drinking and driving. A few of our more liberal forum members have admitted they've done it.

I find it mostly funny that he is Mormon since I lived in Utah for 6 years. I am from WI so drinking and driving is like jaywalking to me (not doing it but hearing about it). We just had a guy get busted here with his 12th DUI. It is ridiculous.

Considering most Catholics in this country really don't seem to have a problem with birth control despite what the Pope says, I'm not exactly sure how comparable this is. It's doubtful a Catholic Senator would lose many votes if he or she was found to have used birth control.
