Exactly. Buying used online >>>>>>>> in store. Virtually every used game is $2-$5 cheaper online, plus you can use CAG16. If you get an incomplete game or damaged one, you can easily switch it out in store for a better copy. Thus gamestop online is the best, and cheapest, option for used games. I recently bought Afrika used. Got a complete, pristine copy and paid $26 bucks...i would have paid close to $50 in store.

do they actually allow you to do that? I tried doing that at one of the GameStops near me, but they didn't want to switch it.

Got it to work for me, I pre-ordered Majin and the forsaken kingdom, and 3d dot game heroes. Needed something that cost $1 to put me at $100 so I got espn nfl 2k5 for the ps2.

Total before tax $75.72. Nice deal, thanks op!

Also just checked my order history and it shows Majin at $44.99 and 3d dot game heroes at $29.99, looks pretty good so far hope it doesn't get canceled.

Ugh... Just ordered $95 worth of games ($75 after code) using the "$20 off $80" deal last week. Now for a return and rebuy since I'm only saving 21% compared to 25% off.

GS is screwing with its buyers into doing return/rebuys.

Great deal on paper. Unfortunately, while the 25% off each game was showing up prior to checkout, when I hit the "confirm order" button it magically reversed itself and instead took $25 off my entire order. So 52.50 in savings was downgraded to $25 in savings. Looks like I get to call gamestop tomorrow and find out what happened.

this deal is great in conjunction with the price drops for both darksiders and ratchet & clank crack in time to $40 each, knocking them down to $30 each new with the promotion. unfortunately, the used prices haven't been updated for the two games as they still stand at $50.

Yes, you can. Just did it today. It says so right on the packing slip that stuff be returned or exchanged in store. Of course, there is the disclaimer that "store policy may differ," which lets the employees in your particular store get away with not letting you return it.

Thanks OP. I got it to work in some format. Ordered some older games for just over $102.00 and it took off $25 I guess. Also the edge 10% bringing it down to $73.56 after tax.

If the code doesn't work at first try hitting the refresh button on your browser. I had to do it a couple times to get the code to work at all.

Was going to order the N adapter for the Xbox 360 but it's 99.99! I can't believe i can't use this because it's a penny under the 100 requirement.

Is it possible to order games from their website for an in-store pickup? Never ordered from gamestop.com before and I don't want to pay for shipping. :p

seems to be working on the 250gig HDD came out to 106.75 shipped. Just out of curiousity where do they get the sales tax percentage from? 9.26 tax on 97.49 seems pretty high to me.

Well, hot damn.

I cancelled my pre-order for Monster Hunter 3, and re-placed the order along with Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny, Blazblue: Calamity Trigger, and the Lego Indiana Jones / Kung Fu Panda bundle to break $100.

Saved another $5 off the pre-order (even after the original coupon) and picked up a few new games I've been eyeing.

Why not just add something like NHL2001 to the order? It's only 99 cents and will bump you over.

Damn, gamestop.com. You're killing me. Am I in for a Legend of Zelda Wii and *insert-$50-pre-order-game-I don't think-I'll-be-able-to-find-a-better-deal-on-here" order? I'm not sure yet. I'll wait until after I know there isn't a B2G1 during the Game Days sale to decide. After all, it seems like the coupon will last for a while, knock-on-wood.

I had the same problem at first. I had my order ready to go then I went back to change a game and it went to $25 instead of 25%. So I cleared out my entire cart, logged out and closed the window- Restarted from scratch and it worked perfectly. Hope they don't cancel my order because I feel like I got away with murder...lol

I haven't found anything, but I've tried a few things. I've added the Metal Gear Solid PSP bundle (for pre-order), Splinter Cell Conviction, and GoWIII to my cart to see what would happen. It gave me $15 off both Splinter Cell and GoWIII.

... wait a second. That doesn't save me 25% of $120. That saves me 25% of each game. :/ So basically, optimize it the best you can, guys. It does seem to be a little buggy.

Are you seriously suggesting that saving 25% off the entire order is not the same as saving 25% of each game?

Or I am completely misunderstanding you.

Thanks OP, picked up Resonance of Fate and Bayonetta. Also threw in Grabbed by the Ghoulies for $2.99 to hit $100 as I've been meaning to try it and it made more sense then throwing in Madden 2003 or something for 99 cents. $81 shipped/with tax.

$15 + $15 = $30

$120 *0.25 = $30

25% of $120 = $30.

Either way, it works.

Math is fun (25% of $120= $30 or 25% of $60 = $15 x 2 =$30) =P

Finally placed an order. Agarest LE, Red Dead Redemption, and Trauma Team for $130 after tax. Not bad at all, no glitches experienced. Only strange thing is that my order status is listed as "verifying", which I haven't experienced before, so here's hoping no sudden unexplained cancellations or anything.

If all goes well, I'll see if I can't place a second order for the stuff I'm getting last week of June/1st week of July. Other M + P3P + something else.

He's saying that you can potentially receive 25% off anything as opposed to having to spend $100 to receive 25% off. I had $46.50 to spend in credit and I managed to get The Last Guardian for $48.xx. I was on the fence whether pre-ordering and saving $15 on that title will be better than any possible holiday deals considering the release date.
