Did a search for this and didn't find it listed, but if a thread exists already by all means delete this. As for the deal if you pre-order Madden 11 at Best Buy for $5 you get Madden NFL Arcade for free. Reserved for 360, but pretty sure this goes for PS3. The game is on sale for I think 800 MS points this week, but this takes an additional 50% off the Arcade price. Also credit goes to spectreon for informing me of this.

Maybe Amazon and WalMart will pick up on this
Then again they're offering 20 bucks back so maybe not but it wouldn't hurt to have something up front

Yeah because I don't know if I want Madden 11, but a free Madden Arcade (especially since they updated the roster for free) would be a nice incentive.
 
you could basically get this free by cancelling your preorder in the future

best buy's preorders arent even preorders anyway, they force you to keep the receipt and use that as a $5 credit when the game comes out

That's because they're not considered pre-orders, but rather "deposits"

I'm curious about this too. This might just be the thing that makes me lean towards getting it from Best Buy.

Also, I didn't see anything about this online on the website. Is it in store only?
 
It is on their site. You get the code by email, so no game case.
Just pre-order Madden NFL 11 for Xbox 360 or PS3 and you'll get an Xbox Live or PlayStation Network code — via e-mail — to download Madden NFL Arcade.

The link keeps messing up when I paste it so just search Madden 11 at BB and you'll see a banner pop up at the top
 
When I search for it, it doesn't pop up on the game detail page for me. But when I go through to Xbox 360 and go in that way, it shows up. Weird.
 
So 5 preoder, get:

dvd case, madden NFL Arcade, 500 RZ points

get refund 6 weeks later and we still get to keep the stuff?

Thanks OP.Picked up one for PS3 this morning.FYI for anyone going to get one, my store had all the pre order boxes on an endcap.They were not with the regular ps3 and 360 games.

if you get it at the store its in the dvd preorder case
 
At my BB, the preorders were kept with the PS2 titles. If you don't see them in the regular places, look around, the employees may not be of any help either.
 
Got mine off ordering online. Took awhile because the email they sent didn't have a code in it, so I had to call them. But I got it now. Thanks OP
 
Just got mine, the game is pretty fun. Will be getting my $5 back later, and ordering Madden 11 off Amazon. Whether for $5 or free, definitely worth it. Thanks again Op!
 
Another CAG already told me about this the other day, but thanks for posting. Either way, I wouldn't have found out if not for CAG! I'll be getting this, but still preordering from Amazon for the $20 credit.
 
Just got one for PS3 but the case was empty. Will try to exchange it tomorrow n see if it was just this one. It clearly say get Madden Arcade free today so hopefully it's just the case I got..

THX OP just got back from picking it up and I already punched in the code and its currently downloading... Even though it is DOTW for 800 MS Points (originally 1200 MS Points) for $5 this is even sweeter...
 
I picked one up today. The cashier was scanning it and putting them in a pile. I asked her for the case. It sucks for the people who she did this too. There was a pile of about 5 of them.

yeah cashier handed me the receipt and kinda put the case off to the side... not behind but toward the end of the register. I just reached and picked it up tho.

Another odd thing... I didn't get charged tax on it. Yeah I know it's a preorder and really shouldn't get charged tax but BB always has before when I preordered things.
 
Do not fucking preorder online it is a pain in the ass to get a smart person on their line, they have transfered me 6 fucking times already and now they just hung up on me. 1HOUR LATER STILL NO CODE, DO NOT PRE ORDER ONLINE YOU WILL NOT GET THE CODE IN THE EMAIL...

I had this done to me as well, and she's like 'well we can throw away this case for you...' :roll:
