Hey, I have 20,000 points right now. Obviously good enough for a $20 off anything coupon or two $10 off and one $5 off preowned coupons. My question is would the preowned coupons stack on the same purchase? Anyone try this, or anyone from GameStop know? Obviously, I'd rather get $25 off than $20 off for the same points price! :)

I'm more surprised you have 20,000 points already, holy crap!

Judging from their past coupon restrictions, 1 coupon per purchase which is stupid.

Also, I have around 19k points. It happened when I traded up a BUNCH of my 360 stuff (Console and several hard drives) for my slim 360 and when they had the $200 any PS3 system.

When I but my reserve on the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood CE (gotta have that harlequin jack!) somebody was redeeming a $50 coupon from PowerUp. 50,000 points!?! :whistle2:o I almost fainted. I know we were a test market and everything, but that was shocking. And I thought I was a points glutton!

Ugh, I hope not. If so, that's lame they wouldn't put any higher increments than $10. Maybe I can find someone who'd be willing to do it for me. Sometimes it's all about the right employee

And here I thought I was bad being at 13k points (also in an original test market.) If I could ever get to 50k points, the Wii will be mine!

Bump.

I would also like to know if you can use more than 1 of the coupons.

Also on another side note:

I have enough reward points to redeem a $10 dollar off used game coupon from the power up rewards program. When gamestop have their b2g1 free sale, can I still use that $10 dollar off coupon too?
I know that gamestop normally doesn't do more than one promo, but this is a reward coupon. Any help would be great Thanks!

It is only 1 coupon per transaction. I had like 3 different coupons a few weeks ago when I went in and I had to use them on different transactions.

They have enough random coupons that pop up from time to time that I don't feel the need to cash my PowerUp Rewards points towards 1-time use coupons. I cashed in 9700 for a Black Ops t-shirt last month for the hell of it. Still have plenty to spare.

I still have about 1700 in points I could use on my account, but since I'm banned from going in store I can't. I don't know if I'd wanna risk it either, since the only thing I could get with those points is a pack of those fluorescent green Interstate batteries.

Yeesh that's a lot. I have a measly 2k back from Nov when I bought the PS3 RB3 KB and transferred my Edge to the new system. Haven't been back since.

I liked that they started giving points for trades and purchases via the card, but the last thing I got from them was a Dead Rising 2 softcover guide for 'free' with the coupon. I only did so because I was banned and I didn't want to have wasted those points.

Do you live in a town that only has 1 gamestop? How would all of them even know you were banned? There are probably about 10-15 Gamestops spread throughout my city and I don't think there's anyway they could keep up with a "banned list" or anything unless they put your name in the system and you tried to pay with a credit card or something.

If he tries to use his PUR card it would probably hault the transaction. Best case scenario is that he could register for a new PUR card and just use that instead.

Close to it. I live near him and we actually have 5 total in the local area, with only one in downtown Scranton.

And yeah, I'd imagine the ban would be in under the name or under his pur card in their system.

Technically we have seven of them around here, eight if you include the one way down in Hazleton.:D But this is why I miss going outta town for work, since I used to be able to hit up stores in a lot of other areas, some of which were like goldmines for price dropped stuff and pennied guides.;)

You can get what looks like a pretty cool Pac Man Plush Doll for 2950 points now. Which is like 3 bucks worth of rewards. Not the greatest, but seems pretty cool.

Everything else on the reward system looks terrible.

I'm talking locally. The two 15+ miles away in WB and farther yet in hazelton don't count as local, to me anyway.

I have around 35k PUR points, and saving it until they have rewards for gamestop gift card, if they ever do get any on the site.

It is a bit dumb that you cannot stack coupons but least now can get SOMETHING for the money we spend there, where was this 5 years ago lol?

I have however ordered a poster from Poweruprewards (The Batman Arkham city gameinformer cover) and its been like 7 weeks and still havent got it, at LEAST I didnt pay for shipping

slightly off the tops...i had almost 25,000 points and instead ordered their Lego Harry Potter and Pokemon Posters for my kids. The quality is of them and the way they were shipped were awesome!

I figure spend the points on the other stuff..most games I am going to buy regardless of a coupon might as well get somehting interesting

I plan on ordering the Red Dead Redemption Panel Poster when I get 2000 more points. I should be pretty close when I pick up Red Dead Redemption and Bulletstorm next week.

I just wish I could use the coupons online. instead of having to go to a friends house to print out a certificate and then to gamestop to pick up the voucher for the Black ops DLC

What happens if: I printed out the certificate for an afterglow controller but...gamestop doesnt have any for me to get with the certificate

Probably find another Gamestop that has one.
I wish the coupons would stack, I have a buy 2 get one free coupon and a 20% off coupon for my birthday.
Has anyone ever tried combining the birthday coupon with a PUR points redeemed coupon and confirmed it's not working? A staff in local GS told me the PUR points coupons are just like cash so I can stack them. However another staff in another GS told me they don't stack.

Most don't stack, the cashier can tell you if it worked or not before you are charged after they total to the tender screen. The PUR coupons are not just like cash, you can't stack them. I am not 100% on the Bday/PointCoupon. Just try it out, worst case you get the better of the two deals and you can always say you don't want to do it (before they charge you)
You have to download the coupon as a .pdf and then print it up, then take the coupon in store for most of the items.
Also can bring up coupons on the app on the Iphone (Don't know if it's available on android market).

I could've sworn someone said you can stack different dollar off GS coupons. $5,$10,$20, etc. But, not the same amounts.

Put that question in this thread: http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=343688

The app works for Android phones.

Yes the bday coupon will also work with $ off coupons so long as they are not in the same increments. $20 and $10 works. $10 and $10 does not.
