a reminder it's a play n charge kit + the new d pad.

I read somewhere that the play and charge kit is suppose to be better as well. That'd be good for me, the P+C kit I have won't play or charge anymore. They don't last very long.

I hate how they took the color buttons away on these. I saw one in the store and it looks so dull and washed out. It's great to have a good working d-pad, but was it really necessary to take the color buttons away?

OP should add that it comes with the play & charge kit in the title of the thread.

I agree. I wonder if they will be sticking with the new dpad in future models. I might just play the wait and see game on that. Considering some games tell you what colors to press instead of letters I could see this being potentially really annoying. A shame because I really want a good dpad. Perhaps I should send a question about it to Major Nelson.
