Plants vs Zombies

So i got the 360 version and loved it and can't wait for the DS version. Can't get enough of zombie killing action.

Amazon

  • Play five original game modes
  • Take on a friend in 2-player Versus mode
  • Zap even more zombies in new DS-exclusive mini-games
  • Make your own zombie with the Zombatar
  • Unlimited replayable action

Only $20 bucks.
Already pre-ordered on Amazon.
Hoping maybe they would add the Zombie figures in the PC GOTY editions would be sweet.

Anyone else looking forward to this?

I am, if only because it's like $15-20 for the PC version (I forget which), and I'd rather have a physical copy of the game. Since I don't own the 360, that makes the DS about my only option.

At $20, I kinda wonder what kind of deals we might see. It seems like it's already bargain-priced, so I can expect some disappointment.

I'm torn on which version I should get, this or the Xbox 360 version. If they are basically the same game, then I might get this version just for the portability.

I picked this up at TRU during their B1G1 50% off sale on $19.99 and under games.

Can't wait to start playing it.

Gonna wait till this drops down to $5-10. The iPhone version is good enough for me for the time being. I am interested to play some of the new mini games they packaged in with the DS version though.

werid how they rank up the difficulty...

Level 1 Very easy
Level 2 easy
Level 3 hard
level 4 harder
Level 5 VERY EASY

you would think the Level 5 would be the hardest with the roof but its easier then the first level...

even though i only lost twice out of all 50 rounds (each level has 10 rounds)

i think i got killed on Level 3-4 and once on Level 4 something

now working on the mini games ... probally send it back to gamefly Friday

I was actually really happy that the roof wasn't as hard as the previous stages. The fog stages made me very unhappy. I'm not a fan of difficulty curves, and the fog stages took a lot of the fun out of the game for me. Fighting for visibility just wasn't fun, nor was the guesswork of wondering where the zombies were.

The roof transition was kind, and it brought back a lot of the charm that the last stage had sucked out.
