With all the deals for Xmas, I bought 2 Red Wiis. 1 to play, the other, I can either return now, sell on CL, or... Keep?

Purchase price was $170 for this one I'm not going to be using. I wonder how long it'll take before it becomes a collectible, if at all.

Thoughts?
 
How long until a red wii becomes a collectable? Maybe 100 years or so? Look at the old consoles, mint conditions ones go on ebay for not that much...it's more for a self collector than something you might see featured on the antique roadshow.

Nintendo always releases different colored consoles on down the road. Look at the Gamecube, N64, DS, and the many Gameboys.

The reason it was so sought after this Christmas was because it was the best offered bundled because it had a $40 game with it.
 
Maybe you should start buying games/consoles because you want to use them and not to hold on to them for a possible $20 return on a 3+ year investment?
