Blu-Rays/DVD with Movie Cash List and Deals

Any current deals on any of the titles with cash for Hangover 2 or Green Lantern?

Also Bridesmaids movie cash with:
40 Year Old Virgin
Knocked Up
Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Best Buy has the Hangover 2 movies on sale for $14.99. Not great but its something.

Half.com has a few cheap movies for the Green Lantern deal. Just search Green Lantern movie cash on the site and it brings up the list.

Edit - Nevermind, this is the original transfer. Hell, Predator for $5 and $12 to see X-Men? OK, I'm sold.

I almost picked up Predator for $5 after trade-in for the $12 movie credit (seriously, wtf? That's amazing when so many use $8.50 as "full"), but isn't it the shitty transfer where Arnold looks like a wax figure?

Heh, nice thread! Since my thread for the Priest deal started turning to discussion of other movie cash deals as well, I considered doing exactly this, but I didn't want to have to maintain it. Glad someone took up the idea. :)

Has anyone had any luck finding any movies with X-Men credit besides Predator at Best Buy? I've checked several BB stores now and haven't found any others (haven't even seen a second copy of Predator with the offer, actually). I'm really, really hoping that there are some better titles than the ones at Wal-Mart that have it, because I really don't want anything on that list.

Also, I believe that the Best Buy movie cash deal for Fast Five is still good for another couple of weeks, though I don't have a list of the titles.

Might want to add expiration dates (where known) to the deals, to make the list easier to maintain (so that you know when to remove them). (edit: added the ones that I know)

I never saw any last time I went to Best Buy, I'm going to try my luck next time I run into Wal-Mart, when does the movie come out?

Well went back to walmart and they were out of some the First Class blurays so I just got both Fantastic Four movies. Doubt I'll ever watch them but it was only 50 cents more than I would have paid for the ticket anyways and I didn't care about owning any of the movies on that list.

Don't really care for The Fifth Element but I saw that my BB had 2 stickers on the copies, one for Priest and one for Battle: L.A. so I bought it since I can just use them to get 2 tickets to any movies I want.

The Battle: LA ones are probably expired at this point.

Saw Fast 5 on Sunday with tix from Casino for $7.99 and Fast And Furious (part 4) for $9.99. Just got back from Priest for free from RE Blu-Rays for $7.99 each. Going to take the family to see Rio tomorrow.

Already got Cars 2 and X-men tix from $5 Predator Blu-Rays as well.

At this rate, I am going to see more movies this summer in the theater than I have over the past 5 years combined.

Great thread OP!!

Actually, it's good until 6/1. I haven't had any problems for a long time using these certificates on any movie I like, so hopefully I'll still be able to get a ticket. These codes are basically like credit card numbers so as long as the theater's POS system gets the amount credited, just pay the difference, and you get a movie ticket.

I also bought Hellboy and MacGruber DVD yesterday, but I'll probably go back to look for more since I'll be using these to see all the upcoming summer movies.

Question, how do these Movie Cash things work? I might pick up a couple of movies if this is the case, but do you redeem them online or do you walk up and hand it in at the theater?

Ah, that's cool. The Battle: LA movie cash that I got from FYE expired sometime in late April (don't remember the exact date, because I didn't keep it after I redeemed it), but that was from cards they gave me at the register, not from stickers on the blu-ray packages, so probably a different offer.
Question, how do these Movie Cash things work? I might pick up a couple of movies if this is the case, but do you redeem them online or do you walk up and hand it in at the theater?
You need to redeem the offer online with the code (usually printed on the back of the sticker, except for Disney releases which are redeemed through the DMR code), and then you'll be able to print out the coupon to take to the theatre.

Some good deals here if you are planning to go to the movies... A few friends want to go see The Hangover II (I'd rather wait for the blu-ray) but I could be talked into it if I can get some movies out of it...
Can you use the movie cash for a different theater than the one you signed up for online???
I never have tried but I would think you can, When you print your ticket it doesn't put the theater's name anywhere on it, The ticket I printed for Priest, which made me select a theater (which was the one I went to), on the top of the page (So the part you cut off the ticket from) It says:

"Simply detach the certificate and present at any participating theater..."

"Participating theater" is the keywords here, for priest for example you can look at a list by going to www.hollywoodmoviemoney.com and enter promo code 37844B, I have no idea how to look up the other promo codes for other movies but if the theater you want to go to isn't on that list, then call them and ask if they accept these type of tickets.

So my guess is if you go to a different theater than the one you selected and use it Hollywood Movie Money isn't going to send you an angry email or ban you from printing any future tickets from their site. I think the MAIN reason they have you select a theater is so you know which theaters accept these tickets, so you don't go to one that doesn't and get pissed off that the ticket didn't work, and then they just lost, potentially, a repeat customer.

My experience has been you can use them at which ever participating theater you want, regardless of which one you "chose".
Can you use the movie cash for a different theater than the one you signed up for online???
I think you may only be able to use it at another location if it's the same theater company as the one you initially chose. For example, if you chose AMC, you might only be able to use it at another AMC theater. Whenever I choose an AMC theater when I create the Hollywood Movie Money certificate, it always shows the Discover logo on the bottom of the certificate. But when I chose a different theater brand, like Arclight, there was no Discover logo. I know that AMC accepts Discover credit cards, and these codes are basically entered into the system at the box office as credit card numbers, so I would assume that a theater that doesn't accept Discover wouldn't be able to redeem that certificate. I seem to remember having this problem before, a couple years back. I think it all depends on the theaters in your area, I'm not 100 percent sure about this. But to be safe, you should use it at a theater owned by the same company as the one you originally chose.

Funny how with e-Movie Cash, you don't need to select a theater when signing up, but with Hollywood Movie Money, you do. I wish Hollywood Movie Money would stop making you do this.

Do all copies of Predator at Best Buy come with Movie Cash for XMen? I just picked up a copy, haven't opened yet in case, and there is nothing on the case advertising moving cash

The code is on the sticker (on the back), not in the case. If there's no sticker, there's no movie cash.

went to best buy and they price matched toysrus, Pirates of the Caribbean 3-disc blu-ray combo for $14.99 with free ticket to Stranger Tides

Updated the OP with info about the M&Ms movie cash contest they are running.

I bought a bag at Target before going to see PotC and won a $3 coupon. Not too bad and with 1 million prizes available the odds seem decent that will win something. Of course the $3 coupon makes up 950,001 of the prizes chances are you will win that but its something.

I was just in costco and they had some blu-ray box sets with 2 $12 movie tickets to see xmen 1st class.

I know I saw:
die hard trilogy
xmen trilogy

I think there were 2 or 3 more sets to pick from. They were priced at $28.99 for the set.

I was in Best Buy today, and they now have the Green Lantern movie cash (up to $8) on most of the titles listed in the OP in-store. The Batman movies and Constantine were $9.99 each, and most of the others were $14.99 each, except for the animated ones, which appeared to mostly be $24.99 each (though I didn't check all of them).

I was seriously tempted to pick up two of the Batman movies, but I'm torn, as I'd really rather wait for a good deal on the box set.

Also, they now have copies of Quantum of Solace with X-Men movie cash (on sale for $9.99). Pissed me off, because I bought fucking Fantastic Four just to get the X-Men cash before, and I've already opened it. I'd have totally grabbed QoS instead if it had been an option. Anyway, added it to the list in the OP.

Thanks OP.

I snagged Batman Returns for $9.90 (yeah, kinda strange) from BestBuy.com.
Did store pickup...hopefully they'll pull a copy with the GL ticket.

If not, I'll cut a bitch.

I can't find anything online but I got $7 movie cash for Green Lantern and $7 movie cssh for Captain America for buying 8 bags of hershey brand candy bars at KMart. 4 bags for each ticket. There was an ad insert but for some reason it isnt in the online ad.

What sizes are we talking about? I wouldn't mind some Captain America movie cash if the price is right.

Four bags per ticket? Holy crap. I like candy and all, but to get two tickets for each movie, that would be a lot of candy.

They are the fun size candy bars. Think they were $2.99 a bag so youd be paying about $12 all together. Had coupons for buy 3 get 1 bag free so came to $9 per transaction. Not bad.

Found it on the ad online

$2.69 11-17.25 oz. Selected varieties.

Get a free movie ticket coupon for Green Lantern or Captain America when you buy any four (4) Hershey's candy bags (11-17.25) *(Up to $7.00 value)

So spend $10.76 to get a $7 ticket. Decent, not great IMO. If you have a coupon then its better.
My copy of the Wolverine movie in BD didn't come with a ticket :( I got it from BB online during their sale, too :(
If you haven't opened it yet, take it to the store and see if they'll exchange it for one that does have the ticket.

Has anyone seen any WB movies with a Green Lantern Ticket out in the wild? I'd love to get Batman and Batman Returns on BD at Best Buy, but when I was there Friday they still weren't stickered yet.

I saw them at one Best Buy this past weekend (most of the titles on the list in the OP had the stickers), but then I was in another Best Buy yesterday and didn't see any at all. Looks like it's YMMV at least for the moment.

V for Vendetta is another for $9.99. There are a ton of movies w/ GL movie cash. V for Vendetta is the cheapest one I've seen. Some good animated ones that are selling for $12.99'ish have the cash too.

All 4 X-men movies have the X-men First Class movie cash and they are only $7.99. Pretty good deal.
