Are you using ad blocker/no script software? Something is blocking images from being loaded at cag.

I would try a different browser and if that works, then perhaps a plugin you installed is causing issues. It could also be from a failed intrusion effort when you visited a shady porn site. Something on the site could have altered your browser settings.
 
Download Malwarebytes AntiMalware from www.malwarebytes.org, install it and scan your system for possible unwanted visitors.

If it happens across multiple browsers, such as IE8/9 and Firefox, it's not the browser that's the issue.

If you have an anti-virus program, update it and scan your system. If you don't have one, go get one and scan your system.
 
Before doing anything drastic like that, just clear your cache man. I am pretty sure that will fix the issue as that's what it looks like to me judging by the screenshot you provided.

Last time I checked, that should be something people do on a regular basis. Some unwanted visitors can cause issues with images loading because they're inserting their own images into posts and pages for spamming purposes.
