F.A.Q's

What is Amazon Warehouse Deals?
Warehouse Deals is part of amazon that has open box, generally like new items.

Is the Amazon Warehouse Deals return policy the same as Amazon's return policy?
Yes, All purchases are eligible for Amazon customer service and 30 day return policy.

What condition are products from Warehouse Deals generally in?
Usually, games are re-shrinked wrap and almost in perfect condition. Any game i have personally ever bought has in like new condition. However, some people have reported that games were scratched with stickers on the insert. Consoles are also usually reported in like new or new condition with box damage. Rarely, a console may be missing a key component such as a power brick.

I'm using the games sort by console link, and the games will not sort by price properly. What is wrong?
You aren't doing anything wrong, the sort by price feature on Amazon is broken

I'm waiting for the 360 slim, or ps3 to pop up.. What time do they usually appear?
They can show up any time, the best way to find it is have the item tabbed on your browser, and download an auto refresh app and frequently check it... Sometimes they will not pop up on amazon warehouse deals storefront, you will need to check the "used" section of the item

Why did all the prices of games randomly jump up?
Games on warehouse deals generally go on a cycle. They will get extremely low, great deals.. Then they will jump back up and restart the cycle of falling in price again.

I have a gaming credit and/or an Amazon gift card. Can both of these be applied to Warehouse Deals orders?
Gift cards can be applied to orders made on warehouse deals, however video game credit is only good for items shipped and sold by "amazon.com", warehouse deals does not count as this.

Anybody ever see those 80 dollar range kinects anymore?
Not in a long while. Been seeing them for about $101 these days and that's about it.
Sweet - new thread...Enslaved is tempting but backlog is huge. Hmm. Recommendations>?
Enslaved was great. I enjoyed it a ton. The animation and characters added a ton of personality to the game, but I don't think it hurts to own the game since in all honesty it's pretty damn easy. On my first normal playthrough I got through it in about 8 or so hours and died a total of 5 times. The combat and platforming is pretty simple, but like I said the design and presentation are top notch.
Never bought from warehouse. Are the games in good condition and complete with manuals and boxart?
check the descriptions. Like new games always come in excellent condition and complete.

Thanks - will probably pick it up.

I have only bought a few games through Amazon's warehouse, but as long as you read the description, you should know what you are getting. My experience with them has been top notch though.
Shadows of the Damned has finally dropped to $37 on Amazon, meaning a price in the $20's used might not be too far off.
Really can't wait for that.

I LOVE Suda, but I can't bring myself to spend $60 on an 8 hour game.

I agree, Enslaved is worth your time, The story and character design really helps carry the game

I Think around 10 dollars from what I've seen.
i have seen some deals for 2 worlds 2 is the game worth 20 bucks?
I paid $20 for it and thought that it was about right. I just finished it and enjoyed it, flaws and all. Took me about 33 hrs to finish- in my personal "value calculator" if I can pay $1 an hour or less and enjoy that time then it's a good deal. If you like action RPG type games you don't have much to lose. There are also a couple of multiplayer modes that are supposed to be decent that I didn't even get around to.

I'm the same way. But the thing is, I don't have a ton of time these days with two kids and a wife and other duties but I STILL refuse to pay full price for a game under 10 hours. Or even half price.

A game with crazy replay value, a sandbox game or an RPG, full price...usually. But I'm still a CAG so I want it cheaper. Let the young ones with too much money and time and no patience subsidize the eventual cost for me by buying it day 1. I can wait.

As for SotD, it's a great game, but I beat it in a rental. $6.
LA Noir for PS3; $21.99 Like New.
I bought it last night for $23.99 on 360...I suppose it's still worth that isn't it? I love old gangster stuff

I'm extremely glad Amazon warehouse deals is coming back and starting to have tons of deals. For a while, their prices were ridiculous and the thread was dying.

I know it's mentioned in the OP but WTF can't Amazon fix their "sort by price" feature? If it's there, make it work!

That has bugged me on Amazon for YEARS. Why hasn't this ever been fixed?

I concur. Bought da2, Kz3,dkcr, ds2, lbp2, loz 3ds and many others recently for very reasonable prces. Lets hope it last! Ps thanks for the new thread.
Hunted Demon Forge $11.99 (360) pretty good? Did I just see it for 9.99 not too long ago?
I think Demon's forge was $10 new as part or Amazon's "Deal of the week"....can't comment on the game since I don't own it.

I think Hunted was $9.99 for some kind of Best Buy promo where, if I'm not mistaken, you had to buy a magazine for it to be $9.99 so it wasn't actually $9.99.

Hunted: The Demon's Forge is pretty good to me so far. I just bought it for $10 from Best Buy with their coupon madness, and if you go in with the proper expectations, I think it's a blast. It's not a dungeon crawling rpg. It is pretty much a fantasy twist on Gears of War. The shooting mechanics are straightforward, but feel good. I'd recommend it for $20 or less, probably moreso if you have a buddy to co-op with, that's where the game really shines.
