Yeah there are a lot of different slot machine themes to choose from. The bad thing about that is that new machines keep being released at such a fast pace that older machines are being removed too quickly. I now very rarely have a chance to play some of my favorite slot machines since they have been removed from all the local casinos near me. They aren't even that old either, most are from the last 3 - 4 years.

Whenever I play slots I almost never play any of the newer ones. The payouts are getting worse and worse. One of my favorite slot machines is the Double Dolphin. The free games are awesome and it pays forward and backwards on the reels.

I have played that game a few times and did well on it. The Aristorcrat machines like that one seem to pay better compared to WMS and IGT machines. I agree about the payout on newer machines getting worse. It is really annoying to play for 20 or 30 minutes, finally get a bonus round and then win 2 or 3 times your bet or worse nothing at all, then the machine shows the message of something like "Congratulations, you won 0 credits." Also I don't like that some newer machines not only have higher minimum bets (I was in Atlantic City yesterday and today and saw a penny machine with a minimum $0.75 bet) but now the amount you have to play is more than a penny per line to cover the bonus. Monopoly Party Train for example is $0.40 minimum bet but you only are playing 27 lines and the rest goes to pay for the bonus.
