As a heads up to anybody that waned the MadCatz Halo 4 Trigger headset but hasn't pulled the trigger, BUY ONE NOW!

I asked for it as a Christmas gift but when browsing for it I found that most retailers are out of stock. Knowing that my wife hadn't picked one up for me yet I franticly started searching for them. They are now in the $100 range on eBay.

GameStop has limited quantities spread around at full price of $59.99
Best Buy has them listed on their website for just $49.99 +free shipping
GameShark store has a few left, down to single digits.

I pulled the trigger at BestBuy.com, but noticed many other sites have pulled the listing, are are far above MSRP.

Amazon
Walmart
Target
Buy.com
Newegg.com

I realize this isn't a "deal". But given how much these things are going to cost on the secondary market, I'd consider it a steal.

Ermm... wrong thread? This is for the CE guides. :p

Just a little bumperoo: The Ni no Kuni guide is now $25.85 at Amazon. I think it had dropped to $23-24 a little while earlier. A little part of me hopes it goes just a bit lower, but at under $30 shipped (I'm not going to put myself in that FSSS bs I was in with FF13-2 CE again), it's more than a fair price for this hefty book. Plus I like the fact that it's a spoiler-free walkthrough.

Love the fact it's plain. While I'd wish there were some characters on the cover, I think that looks better.

Dang, looks like it. I guess enough people used their $5 off $25 codes on it (myself included). ;)

Meh, if it is then I'm glad. Not paying those prices for a guide.

Bah, I completely forgot about the Ni No guide. I had to order it from B&N, and their packing for guides sucks dick. The last time I ordered CE guides from them, they just threw it in a box and shipped it out. It arrived surrounded by dents.

Tomb Raider Limited Edition Guide has been added (kinda recently too)

http://www.amazon.co.../dp/0744014611/

So far it's still full price of $36.99, but I imagine Amazon will have it down to around $20 before March.

Hopefully more NNK guides come into stock. I forgot to order one, too. Gonna order it from Book Depository for now.

So is this Nino no Kuni book different than the one in the Wizard Edition? Aside from the outer cover?

You're confusing two things here. The Ni no Kuni hardcover guide we're talking about here is a limited edition strategy guide, while the one in the Wizard Edition is like a book of lore or something else related to the game. I'm not sure what it is, but I'm pretty sure it's not a strategy guide

I would expect prices on both the Bioshock Infinite CE and Tomb Raider LE guides to drop down to their "normal" Amazon prices within a week.

If I had to guess, we're probably looking at $26-$27 per guide when they "drop" to their Amazon regular prices and possibly drop a few more dollars before release. Depends if B&N decides to do their usual price drop scenario against Amazon.

I'd suggest setting price watches for each on camelcamelcamel.com and then order them when they've dropped from current prices.

What interests me about the Bioshock and Tomb Raider guides, is whatever that "replica real-world item from the game" they both seem to have. I mean, can it possibly be any better than my Diablo 3 bookmark and Mists of Pandaria Pandaren Chopsticks? :o!

On the Tomb Raider hardcover guide it says ages 13 and up with 256 pages. The paperback version says ages 17 and up with 400 pages. What a major typo.

Bioshock Infinite CE and Tomb Raider LE guides dropped down to $24.41 on Amazon. That's their "start" pre-release price, apparently. Hopefully they'll drop a few dollars before release.

Just saw that when I went to check on a current order. Much much more manageable than trying to spend $80 on both guides. :P Come on $19.99!

$25 is free shipping at Amazon for people without Prime.

Personally I used a temp $5 credit that they gave for posting some shit on Facebook so I got it for $20 with free shipping.

For anyone who wants to know, Gamestop has the Ni no Kuni guide listed, unfortunately for the full price of $39.99. But if it gets sold out elsewhere, then this can be your last bastion for snagging the guide.
