This is the best ww2 fighter sim I've ever played ... 2 thumbs up ... but then again I played it on PC with a full FCS and head-tracking. I have it on 360, it's not quite as good but still fun.

Pretty decent, if dry stuff. Sits at an uncomfortable balance between Ace Combat's "Glorified Starfox" level of casual arcadey flight sim versus IL-2 on PC's hardcore realism sim craziness.

This got a PC port as Wings of Prey on Steam but with crummy DRM. I think the PC port lost the IL-2 name because it was given to the console versions with the understanding that it wouldn't come to PC. I don't know the full story, you know how internets rumors migrate.
