It's a very niche game for sure and I doubt most review sites even have someone working there that would enjoy it. All in all the two games are pretty solid strategy RPGs. For what it's worth I think the first one was better, the second one is literally more or less the same game (the characters have different names but are blatantly obvious clones of the first game, like Ellis -> Alice).
