Funny I bought Fo3 on launch in 08 and put in 40 hrs plus and never got around to finishing it. Never played fonv but that glitch at the beginning where the guys head spun around was some creepy shit!

By the time I finish Fallout 3 GOTY I should be ready for a $10 sale on this.

Yeah by the time I get to New Vegas it will drop in price considering I still have to play Oblivion, Fallout 3, Mass Effect 1 and 2 and Dragon Age Ultimate edition not to mention a zillion other Xbox 360 games since I am just getting the system next week....

Hmm, I haven't gotten very far in New Vegas.. wondering if I should just pick this up instead. I'm hoping for a $40 price tag for this, (RDR goty was $40 iirc) considering New Vegas vanilla could be had for so cheap lately but I'm gonna assume their gonna milk it for all its worth and charge $60 for this package. Maybe amazon will have it cheap in for the holidays, here's hoping

I hope it will be on disk like Fallout 3 GOTY.

I was very frustrated by Borderlands code approach to the DLC release on GOTY. Makes it hard to delete the DLC from your hard drive when you are done- in case you want to play it in 5 years. Can we trust Microsoft to keep the legacy DLC available? Probably not.

The game froze on me when I was hiding in the caves from the coyotes. That pissed me off.

I don't buy them at launch just because they always seem to have tons of bugs...

Although I am looking forward to Skyrim so much that it will be a launch purchase for me. Just going to save every 10 minutes...

Why didnt they call it GOTY Edition? Im guessing because it wasnt GOTY

Although, I did just trade in RDR Undead, and Fallout NV, so these Ultimate packages are just asking me to rebuy and get all the DLC, and I might

I'm considering the RDR GOTY edition, since it'd be nice to have everything in one package like the GTA IV Complete. But I'm just afraid that my old game saves won't work with that edition much like my GTA IV save didn't work with the Complete Edition.

Maybe, I should dump/trade into Gamestop my PS3 copy that I got from Blockbuster Video during the Buy 1 Get 1 free sale on used games awhile back. I haven't even gotten to it yet and probably won't due to my backlog. I'd like to get $7.50, but don't expect that much.

Edit: I wonder if I can use whatever trade in credit I can get with this game right away to pay off a preorder I'm going to pick up?

FYI: Gamestop isn't the only place taking in trades now, ya know. Best Buy is giving $7 base for it and if you pre-order Skyrim or select other games you can get 50% on top of that. Then if you have their Gamer's Club Unlocked(carbon copy of Power Up Rewards from GS) you can add in another 10%.

So in the end you can get $11.20 towards the pre-order of a future title. But in order to get the 50% promo you have to put down $5 on it. So after that you're left with $6.20.

Don't forget that BB also has the pre-order/purchase 5 select games n get $100 worth of RZ certificates promo going on now too.:D

Isn't it just in your account, you could redownload. I really don't think MS will discontinue XBOX 360 downloads in 5 years... it will be much longer than that, if they ever shut down Xbox Live for the 360. MS has billions of customers using their service, it would be like if Apple shut down the App store for good until their new device came out, and built an entirely new app store which rendered all previous apps useless.. Besides there are 320GB hard drives available these days, while I think you could definitely fill one with a 320GB drive even with a few GB of DLC if its something you like just leave it on the drive.

Billions seems like a bit of a stretch.

I wish I had your faith in MS continuing to support the 360 once their new console hits. So far they're 0 and 1 for legacy online support.

Alright! Time to start waiting for it to drop in price!

This. I knew before this game even came out that it was gonna be 1) full of bugs 2) drop in price like a rock and 3) have tons of overpriced DLCs and an inevitable all-in-1 edition. I have passed on this game at $9.99 three different times already, knowing that by the time I ever would actually be ready to pull it out of the backlog & play it, I will have bought a complete edition for $19.99 or less.

My sentiments exactly. I loved Fallout 3. That's probably an understatement. I played through 3 complete times. I was skeptical about this one because it wasn't the same developer. From what I understand though, it's basically the same gameplay and the bugs have now been fixed. I will get this complete edition after a good price drop and be done with it once and for all.

I got lucky and got the borderlands GOTY version that had the dlc on disk that was released later but yea if this is not on disk its a no go for me.

I was definitely hoping for another one of these. Last time I bought Operation Anchorage for the 360 separately before getting GOTY for Fallout 3, I ended up getting FOV for $40 on sale, and I'll be picking up this too when it comes out.

Nothing to see here, move along!

I had very few issues with my PS3 copy. Gland to see there will be a new edition..I'd like to go back and play it again.

I played 3 and NV on PS3 and I had very few problems with either game. Sure, it froze probably once every 5-6 hours, but it was tolerable.

I've put a little over 50 hours into New Vegas on PC and a few crashes are about the extent of issues I've had with the game, which may very well have been caused by the extensive list of mods I used. I don't doubt it was a buggy game at launch, but as far as the PC version goes, I think most of that has been sorted out by now.

Anyways, with how long the wait is for this Ultimate Edition, I'm kinda glad I just bought the Vanilla edition. I remember it was something like $25-$30 for Black Friday last year, and most of the DLC has been $3-4 on Steam sales (probably will get discounted again in the holiday sale).

After hearing of nothing but glitches with the first release of New Vegas, Brink and the issue on the PC for Rage I think I'm done buying games that have Bethesda's name anywhere on it. I was considering picking up Skrym at one point but now I'm not.

I might pick this up for a console when it hits 30, anymore than 40 dollars and I wouldn't even consider this a deal. I had fun with it on the PC, but there were too many bugs for sure.

This game is top tier. I wonder what the MSRP will be. If it's $60, you're only saving a few bucks from buying the standard game and all the add-ons. It runs great on the PS3. For some perspective, by the time this comes out it will have been 15 months since New Vegas launched.
