Hmmm my PS3 warranty expires soon, maybe I should pick another one up, just in case... I really like my shiny fat PS3 though lol.

I should have bought that PS3 bundle at FS (320GB + UC3 + MGS4 + GOW3) for $250. ARRRRGH. Now my best bet is $200 for 160GB + MGS4 and GOW3 for $30.

So for $20 in savings I lose 160GB and UC3.

If EB Games has similar system deals, that will rock as I have of bunch of games that I am willing to unload to pick up a new console, or even that 3D Sony display.

Heck, I can trade in my old 360 and pay $29 for a new slim model. Or my fatty PS3 for a new 160GB.

Here's hoping they have the same deals.

I was hoping War in the North would be on sale (for a better price than the $39.99 sales). Oh well I am sure it will hit $29.99 eventually. Nothing I am super into though.
 
you know, I'm actually surprised no one has Rayman Origins on sale ... A ubisoft game that isn't popular whatsoever and it's remained 59.99 since it's release. Odd? Disappointing!

amazon.ca better damn deliver on the goods. they used to have the best black friday deals, assloads of PS2 RPGs for half-price.
 
Done with exams, and I was expecting to see awesome Boxing Day deals. thanks to those that posted but holy hell the majority of the deals are massive turds.

The 50% off games at Sears does look promising though. Is that a one day event or a weekly sale?
 
Had to check and yup, sure enough, amazon.ca is already hinting at video game deals for boxing day, but you don't get to find out until Dec. 25. Sears is probably one of the last places for games, but I will definitely keep them in mind come Dec. 27.
 
Doesn't look like I'll be buying anything this boxing day, unless Amazon.ca somehow has some decent deals, but I'm not really expecting much from them.

I wish the 50% off Pokemon figures at TRU was for plushies instead. Oh well. xP

Staples XBOX 360 4GB at $99.99 is nice deal. Other than that nothing, but I am hopeful some good deals will pop up with RCSS or HMV.

Bought the MGS4 80GB bundle from London Drugs, then I think it was a 4 year warranty from Sony, for $160.
Only had to take it in once (yellow light of doom -__-)
But my PS3 froze again the other day, so I'm thinking it might die again soon lol.

At least I learned to backup my PS3 on an external drive now.
Really was a bummer to lose everything last time -__-

I just went and looked at their ads on the Futureshop website. Most of the deals have limited quantities per store. Is this strictly forced? Interested in getting a Playstation 3D TV!!!
 
I want to get Gran Turismo 5 from Walmart for $20 since that appears to be the best deal. But I've never gone shopping on boxing day before. I'd assume that Walmart would be the worst place. Unfortunately, I won't be able to leave early in the morning. I'll have to go around noon. :(

So what are the chances of GT5 still being there? Has everyone who wanted it already bought it? Does Walmart have a room full of GT5s? :D

Is it silly to buy an xbox 4GB console knowing that's not enough space? Anyone know of any 250gb deals going on, or how easy it is to add my own hard drive ? $130 is a decent price, but that 4gb just isn't enough.

It's quite easy to modify your fat Xbox 360's hard drive to work with your Slim. It doesn't void the warranty, as all you're doing is taking out the Slim's hard drive.

You can buy a laptop 320GB drive and hack it to work with the XBOX 360, like the official XBOX hard drives. But OEM hard drives are still in short supply making hard drives more expensive than they were before, earlier in the year.
 
Thanks for the replies guys - I guess there's no way to simply plug in a 2TB external drive for example and use that, right? Hah, so much cheaper - even with the shortage.
