Trade-In Programs?

Hey guys, I'm just trying to gauge what people would like to see in terms of trading games in for store credit. In my experience, it seems like a lot of people have gripes about Gamestop's trade-in and how it sells the traders short. Based on this kind of program, what would you like to see improve?

The two main things to me are promptness and good pricing. Gamestop is usually prompt but offers poor trade in values at times. Best Buy on the other hand used to never be prompt but they've improved significantly. Unfortunately it seems that their trade in values have decreased substantially even after the many bonuses. Finally, a Best Buy and Walmart credit is far better than Gamestop credit....

BTW while I'm not really a Walmart guy I'll try to go to one of your events soon! I live in Canton so the Walpole, Avon, or Brockton stores are relatively close.

Thanks for the great insights, caedeskhan! On Twitter, we let our followers know when and which Wal-Marts our gamers will be each weekend, and we'd love to see you stop by.

We're also trying to get these kinds of opinions to the higher-ups and give everyone a better offer and experience, so keep these suggestions coming :)

I'm in the same boat with caedeskhan. I understand it's a business and they are in a market that GameStop really had a hold on, but with a lot of newer competition (best buy, target, amazon) I dont see any urgency with them to take make a competitive move to retain business, especially with trade-ins. Best buy really is my go to store, with my alternate being amazon. The only time gamestop is even considered is when there is a 50% trade in bonus promotion... which sadly usually only gets the trade in value up to the base value of best buy or amazon.
