Anyone had any luck getting a game before street date in STL?

I really, really, really, really, really want Twisted Metal. I've never been lucky enough to be one of those guys who gets a game early. I've heard 7-11 sometimes puts games out early, but I don't know any in STL that even sell games! Has anyone ever had luck getting a game early in STL? If so, where?

I know it's a long shot, but I love TM and have been waiting for a sequel since 2001.
