I'll admit, I enjoyed Transformers 3 alot (despite the fact it could've been better if Michael Bay just skimmed about an hour or so off) so as long as I get Peter Cullen back and alot less enemy scrotum and racist robots then I'm all for it.

LOLZ...knowing Bay, the robots will be fondling bigger enemy scrotum(with robot tongues) while being even MORE racist.

But seriously...Tranformers 4? WTFBBQ

Wish they would do a reboot like they did with Spider-man after it got completely ruined. We've all seen the awesome things that can be done with the franchise through War For Cybertron.

They don't even have to reboot it, they just need to make michael bay keep his goddamn hands off the franchise.

Guess Hasbro wanted an excuse to sell even more black Bumblebees.

And the fact that Optimus, who is far more grim and bloodthirsty in this incarnation, put even more flames on his vehicle mode is quite amusing.

fuck, I never got around to buying Sentinel Prime. Just bought Megatron and Shockwave........ God damn it Bay put out a character worth buying!

This series of movies needs a reboot FAST - especially since Transformers Prime (airing new episodes now) is easily the best version of anything Transformers related EVER. If they condensed each season of that show into one movie they would have an EPIC trilogy. It is so good and Michael Bay's movies are so so so bad. You know in 10 years they will give this the reboot and someone will come along and pull a Christopher Nolan and knock it out of the park.

Wha???

Honestly if they rebooted it, it should all be about the events on Cybertron leading to the departure of the Allspark. It should also be about the rise of both Optimus and Megatron.

God damn it bay...

I just meant someone re-imagining the franchise in a way that kicks ass (like the recent Batman movies) not that he would be the guy to do it.

As much as a cybertron-focused movie might be cool I think it would be almost an impossible sell to the masses. Also, I kind of think the allspark is lame - I don't need to know how Transformers are made or where their power comes from - I can just accept the premise of sentient robots. To me it is kind of like midi-chlorians. Although I do like the Matrix of Leadership so what do I know?

I know Bay is loaded with money and probably has women fawning over him wherever he goes, but at least my taste in design goes beyond a child with a crayon set. I mean the bots are able to alter their own appearances, so why the fuck would Optimus choose ...that?

Well..........what do you want him to be?

I say the mouth shield should stay on all the time. I wonder if they will mention Sam and Carly?

Given that the last three series have given Optimus a mouth, I doubt it will change anytime soon.

Well.......... Bumblebee still won't talk normally? God damn Ratchet! You can fix up prime but you can't fix Bumblebee's voice box????

Not that, that looks like it was designed by this guy:

dude.... do you even remember the show? He didn't do shit but drive it to the shop.

Non-talking Bumblebee is popular with the kiddies.

So "meh" about this movie it isn't even funny after being burned by TF3. TF1 was great (mainly due to the novelty of seeing a live action TF movie, I'll admit). TF2 was ok, but had a lot wrong with it TF3 was just terrible imho.

I for one would love a "War Within" or "War for Cybertron" all CG all the time extravaganza, but I know damn well it won't happen (budget, need humans for "marketing" etc).

But a true prequel (on cybertron) would be great. Do we really need humans?

oh btw...there should be no excuses why we can't have a aircraft carrier sized transformer. ILM provided they can make one hell of a transforming ship (alien) in Battleship (which I think was better than the last TF movie).

Their "rpbots in disguise" so maybe a normal looking semi truck that would blend the fuck in? I mean if you're trying to keep a low profile, would you choose a truck with bright orange flames all over it?

Sheesh...

Metroplex and Scorpinok, man. Although I'm sure they'd fuck that up too.

Heck I am still waiting to have a scene where Peter Cullen is DRIVING Optimus Prime..there was rumored to have filmed a scene for TF3.

They stopped being in disguise in DOTM.

The real reason for the new truck? To sell toys.

Anyway, this will probably see Megatron being reborn as Galvatron, which will hopefully result in some nice focus on the character.

Me Grimlock say we on our way!  They better not fuck up the Dinobots and make them something stupid like non-transforming robo-raptors...

Remember how about a year before the last movie was released there was all this talk and hype about Soundwave being the main bad guy?...then the movie comes out and he's only in a couple of scenes?

I really hope Bay doesn't pull this shit with the Dinobots, where they play a small cameo.   Gregg Berger is still alive so perhaps he can do Grimlock's voice again.

That does look like it could be Motormaster, which almost definitely means it's not.  It would be cool to see another gestalt group in the movies that aren't the god-awful mindless mess Devastator was.  (don't forget the robot balls)  Interestingly, I was reading the wiki page on the movie version of Devastator, and it seems they called the fusion imperfect which means it may be being perfected, so we may see more gestalt transformers, later.
