I don't know of any that have been released yet, but Dragon Quest Monsters is being remade for iOS and Android: http://www.square-enix.co.jp/smart/market/game001.html

Sorry to necro, but you should certainly try "Beasty bay"
It's a perfectly good pokemon like game, collect pets, battle etc.

Every 2 screens I get a "spend meowbux" option - that's really offputting.

I'm fine with games adding a few ads if needed, but every single damn screen and a half is WAY over what is comfortable to play with.

Leeches the fun right out of it.
