That whole "rushing the passer" thing was working too well for them I guess.

Harbaugh you deserve everything that happens to you in this game. Why on Earth Belichick seems to be the only coach in the nfl that understands the motto "If it isnt broke dont fix it" is beyond me. It doesn't matter how many scores your up you never play conservative.

The ball has hit the ground 9 times in this game, and the 49ers have picked up 8 of them. It's amazing that the Pats are in this.

This is insane, I'm convinced Belicheck personally injected each and every one of his players with cocaine during the half-time.

It feels like the Patriots have held on every single punt return in this game.

97 yards is asking an awful lot, even of Brady.

3 holds called on the Pats returning punts in this game, plus the long kick return right after they tied, amazing that Brady can lead them all the way back only to have special teams lose it for him.

Yeah. I'm not going to get too bent out of shape about it though. The narrative is no longer that the Patriots got embarrassed, coming back like that was pretty incredible, especially in a game where they got literally no bounces. Win or lose, it's hard to think this is a sign of any major problem. They're just going to have to do it on the road in the playoffs. Good teams can.

Could have sworn there was an intentional grounding there. not to mention one of the sacks the clock just stopped when New England never used a timeout wtf?

Exactly. They have a harder road ahead of them now going on the road, but it can still be traveled.

Shitty onside kick was the appropriate way to end it given how terrible the Pats' special teams were tonight. Oh well.

Somebody's getting cut tonight after that performance on special teams, Brady could've led one of the great comebacks of all time had they simply done their job adequately. The kick return was devastating.

Got to do something about Ridley as well.

Special Teams were dreadful, but I have a hard time giving the "goat" label to anyone but Ridley and Vereen in this one. The Pats never would have been in the position of needing that comeback if they'd done their jobs adequately. Ball security is Belichick's #1 rule, so I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Woodhead just won himself the starting gig.

Collinsworth and Michaels spent about 3 hours retconning the Patriots 2 Superbowl losses out of existence.

Also just give AP that damn MVP trophy. Another 200+ yard game against a NFC west defense no less.

Heart breaking loss for my Pats. Especially after that comeback only to watch the 49ers take the lead back in two fucking players. Nice job Arrington once again your no tackle ability comes to full force.

New sig coming soon.

WOW, awesome game to wrap up a crazy Sunday. (Does anyone give a Fuck about tomorrow's MNF other than pathetic Jets fans hoping their Jets somehow squirm in and don't get the holy shit beat out of them by virtually anybody?)

My MVP vote and CPOTY vote officially go to A.P. now. Not gonna be a homer to Peyton even though he's been amazing, but A.P.'s had 150 yds in 3 straight games and the fact he's willing his team to being even CLOSE to sniffing the playoffs is incredible. Has a shot at Dickerson's record, definitely looks to have 2000 yds wrapped up, and he's doing it at a ridiculous 6.3 ypc. Been an amazing year as a Broncos fan, Peyton's in MVP and CPOTY contention, Miller is in DPOTY talks, Fox has some Coach of the Year consideration. I'd trade it all for a Lombardi though ;).

Incidentally, was at the mall today and found an A.P. jersey for under $20. Snatched that shit up
