I will gladly shut the hell up about them when they A) give me the rest of the keys I ordered or B) give me a refund.

Until then I will keep Derp Derp Derping away I'm afraid.

Feel free to put me on ignore if it makes you feel better.

Well they have keys for those games because they are selling them now.

I think the only way they will back fill the keys for those price mistake orders at this point is if the publishers cut them a deal on some new keys either free or at drastically reduced costs which probably ain't gonna happen.

Are you sure? Because I remember they were selling Skyrim at normal price shortly after the glitch, and people thought they had keys but just weren't giving them to people. It turned out people who bought them at the non-glitch price also got the error message of being out of keys.

Well they ran Skyrim and Doom 3 BFG (and I think Dishonored?) as featured deals of the day after that incident.

I want to say that they wouldn't be stupid enough to make games they don't have keys in stock for featured deals of the day, but now that I think about it...

You are correct with Skyrim at least. They ran it as a daily, but had no keys for the people who bought it. Not sure on Doom 3, but it might have been the same thing.

Just an update with where I'm at.

Purchased one bundle, activated all but the FO3 key. I still have all my games on my shelf and the FO3 game is generating a "out of keys" error when I click on show serial key.

Downloaded and installed the 10 games I was able to active on steam and actually launched all of them without issue.

Been playing a lot of dishonored.

No emails since the glitch happened. I'm wondering (if not hoping) that since I was able to activate 10 of the 11 keys and pull the games down from steam that I'm fairly safe.

Don't know if I'll ever get the FO3 key, but if I don't, I'm still happy with the rest for $28 and won't push for any type of compensation.

People complain when Amazon runs out of keys and stops selling games, but this seems way worse to me.

Gamersgate isn't the only one. There's been times where Steam has run out of keys, but still sell the game.

Surely we are not going to start a fanboy war over who has run out of keys more times in in the shortest period of time and/or which one kept it's users more in the dark while acting behind their backs.

Seriously, all e-tailers are moving in a fairly dark shade of gray area which has the chance end up being bad for everyone, but right now comparing Amazon and Steam to GG has no point, they are not even on the same league because GamersGate is the leading digital distribution platform for PC and Mac games, with over 4000 games available. Follow us on Twitter: @gamersgate

You know what?? Call me when either Amazon or Steam or any other rightfully earns a nickname in the likes of Scammergate, then we'll talk.

EDIT
And I go to the Amazon thread and find this

Still catching up on the insane amount the rage going on for the past 20 or so pages but wanted to drop in and note that the price match to Hotline was (and this should be obvious...) an error. Our automated systems put the match in place, I got a note in my email that sales were going nuts, checked what was up, took the buy box down, fixed the price, and then put it back on sale.

Cheers,
Tony

Test time, how much does this differ from GG's actions?

1) Tony isn't going to refund you and take your keys.
2) Tony is not going to lie for a week and then take away your keys.
3) The glitch was promptly fixed.
4) Amazon communicates with people, instead of staying silent, and then say they'll tell you in a week.
5) Amazon doesn't carry Bethesda titles.

Holy crap! I must have missed a couple of pages of this thread - people have had their keys taken away from them?! I've just rushed over to my Steam library and mine still seem to be there, thank Christ. Is this a widespread issue? How many people apart from elessar123 were given keys and then had them revoked?!

Edit: just had a look back through the last few pages. elessar123 seems to be the only one affected at CAG so far. I literally cannot believe they're actually taking back the keys that they sent out!

Gamersgate doesn't even refund people who didn't get keys. They still haven't refunded me for a game purchased in Nov and probably didn't for games I purchased last year that i never knew were canceled since I have yet to download most of my Gamersgate games.

Unless you have proof that you've actually lost something, don't make assumptions yourself and complain about what you assumed happened here.

Plenty of people have received refunds, some receiving keys and some not.

I think you are misreading what elessar said. Maybe he meant the possibility of having revoked keys? I've been following this thread and no one has had a revoked Steam game once activated.

Someone got a refund and it appears they removed the games from his GG library, I forget who. He activated Skyrim, and his Fallout NV key was showing but he did not actually activate it on Steam. He didn't write it down so he just lost out, not exactly the same as revoking a game from Steam. He basically got Skyrim (I think it was the game) for free.

I do have proof, but I don't feel the need to give you access to my account. I'm not bitter about the Bethesda pack since I received a refund without asking, but a week for BL2 w/o a refund was ridiculous (spent about $25 that order and I had to send them a ticket before anything was done). Not to mention no notice of my November GTA4 Complete purchase being canceled and no refund (checked Paypal and Gamersgate). And that's not counting the un-refunded cancellations from late 2011.

Lol I wasn't asking for your account info. My question was why you feel like you believe that your order was cancelled and you didn't receive a refund (any occurences).

1) Is(are) the game(s) no longer in your library?
2) Can you can confirm that you haven't received a refund either in BC or in PayPal funds? If you can, are you sure that you were charged for it (check your PayPal transaction history, if in doubt)?

Some games were canceled, and I discovered this by looking on my order history page. I can tell that they weren't refunded, because on PayPal it tells you if a transaction has been refunded (It shouldn't be blue coins because I used PayPal). I was charged, but not refunded. I'm hoping they'll resolve it now that I've submitted a ticket, but it's ridiculous that they didn't do it on their own after more than a month had passed.

Well, if the payment went through, you got your game(s), then they cancelled the order, removed your games, and didn't give you a refund, then that's ridiculous.

Having said that, I still have my doubts and I think you may be missing something since I've never had this experience with the site. All of my cancelled orders were those that I left pending. Cancelling those orders after a reasonable amount of time is definitely reasonable to me. But if this was done to an order that was placed, like what happened with my Ghost Recon order which was placed, successful, and was later cancelled and refunded, then that is definitely not acceptable.

In the end, though, I'm nearly certain that support would be more than willing to investigate the issue and resolve it.

Nyargh. Tempted to get the Legacy of Kain pack on Gamersgate. The pack says Steam, Soul Reaver and Defiance both say Steam, but Soul Reaver 2 says DRM free.

Not sure if this is Gamersgate incompetence or a trick or what.

Just as a third confirmation, you do get Steam Keys for all items in the Legacy of Kain pack.

Kept hoping for a larger Steam deal on this pack after seeing the Tomb Raider pack early in the sale but this wound up actually being slightly cheaper than Steam would have been if they had gone 75% off.

Blood Omen 2 is probably a time limited exclusive for GOG. I don't think Blood Omen 1 is sold as a download yet, but GOG would probably carry it first and have time limited exclusive rights to that too.
