Any games like Forza or Gran Turismo on PC? Preferably Steam?

Any kind of racing sims like those two games?

on steam there is Race Injection which collects almost all of the Simbin games (missing 2 expansion packs) and Shift 2.


For the best racers, you have to buy from the companies or on disk:
Richard Burns Rally (dirt cheap on Amazon)
iRacing (it's expensive as it's monthly fee and you buy cars and tracks. hardest hardcore sim around)
rFactor (tons of community content and just a great all around game)
netkar Pro (great little game but no ai)
Project CARS (it's in alpha but really good so far, new game from Ian Bell who's studio did the Shift games and probably the biggest name in racers)

hope you have a wheel though, these games really need it

Shift 2 is probably going to be your best bet for a Gran Turismo or Forza like experience. Plus it does go on sale sometimes.

If you are up for a speed change, there is always the F1 series from codemasters.

Hmm, does the F1 series change much every year? I am interested but I don't feel like throwing down a lot of money for this year's version.

I played Shift 2 on 360, and unfortunately I thought it was terrible :/ the handling felt so unrealistic. I guess if I find it cheap enough I'll take a look anyway.
