Hold out if I were you. Every place has it for like 20 bucks now. And it's no secret that the story isn't complete without the dlc.
 
not very good deal since dont have free shiping, (have to be over 25 for free shipping) anyways stay free.
 
Pick this one up w/ the free book thing @ bestbuy for 20$. What is this dlc not making this a good deal that everyone is blabbering about?

Idk I bought the game for $60 and beat it before all the extra DLC came out and i was satisfied with the game.
 
FYI for non-Prime people: GoHastings has it for $20.39 shipped if you use the promo code GODSAVETHEQUEEN.

I've bought a ton of used stuff from GoHastings, have yet to receive anything that's not in "Like New" condition.
 
Well this game's dropping fast. Any guesses if they'll be a GOTY version with all the DLC some day? I don't know what Square-Enix's policy is toward this sort of thing.

Tbh, i dont think so .. Never seen square do such a thing except in japan with there international and final mix editions.

Just read about it . Its about 60$ including costumes ,30$ without costumes.

Ya, it's mostly costumes, weapons, and coliseum battles to get monsters for your party, though. And I think an add-on to the casino area with a few casino games. Nothing particularly necessary (unless you can't bring yourself to finish the game without Serah's swimsuit...lol). Only a few are additions to the story (the main 2 costing $9 total...and pretty much just being cutscenes and boss battles).
 
A step down from XIII in terms of polish but a really enjoyable RPG. Short campaign, tons of of side content to complete, pretty fun atmosphere.

DLC is pretty affordable too. I highly recommend the Mass Effect N7 armor =]

Ya. I think they announced that the recent Snow and Lightning stories and mog costumes are the last of the dlc for the game.
 
I'm kinda hoping for a all-in-one collection. I get that SE never did one before but since they're milking this game as much as possible, I think there's a chance they still might...

This. Great ending too. Though if you thought XIII's story didn't make much sense, this one will make your head explode.

Take a look at what the DLC is before you worry about it.

- Costumes which are purely cosmetic
- Weapons which are not better than the base ones in the game, just different
- Extra casino games
- Extra superboss battles that you won't begin to have a chance at until you've beaten the game and max-leveled your characters

All stuff you can safely ignore if you're morally opposed to the existence of DLC or whatever.
 
Playing this now, very enjoyable. Recommend at this price or check awd while it's this price for a possible $14.99 version.

Hopefully, PSN+ will run a deal on the dlc, as I really want the party member/boss fight dlc. It will be a long time before I get around to playing it, so it is very possible (but I've still not seen a deal on the Batman:AC dlc like Nightwing & costumes. I was waiting for all of it, but nabbed the Robin dlc from a CAG).

The stuff they held from this game to sell later makes me sick to my stomach, lol. The weapons & outfits??? Are there some to unlock in-game, and these are 'bonus', or is this dlc all there is?

Thanks for the info, bud. Really informative. It makes me glad I got this now, because if I can't beat the dlc bosses to have as teamates in the 1st go-round, I'm straight & SE can keep their dlc.

Anyways this game was released early this year and its dropping so fast! As others have pointed out, the DLC is an issue for me also. I hope they release some sort of DLC-packed edition in the near future :cool:.
