Good deal, but I hope either Steam or Amazon has this price at some point this year. Never used GF for downloads and don't have an interest in starting unless its for steamworks games.

I got hooked on this game on PS3 (got it "free" compliments of PS+) but the freemium model on an otherwise paid game rubs me the wrong way. Also the matchmaking is hella busted, constant disconnects and crashes that forces PS3 to reboot completely when I attempt to quit out of game upon crash.

i love relaxing with a beer/joint and just goggle targeting everyone. gets tons of points cuz of assists and i just throw out a motion sensor on my feet and goggle away. not that thrilling, but a fun way to unwind after work ;)

Been curious about this game despite the piles of DLC they put out; for this price I probably can't go wrong. Might as well wait a few days for the Steam sale, though, to see if it gets close in price.

I would imagine this would not redeem on steam, and even if it did it would still have GFWL? Might sill bite at that price anyways.
It's an online-only shooter, so this really shouldn't have controller support. Unless you wanna be cannon fodder for the mouse+keyboard players.
But it's also available on Xbox 360 and PS3. Your point? Play how YOU WANT TO, not how anyone else wants you to or thinks you should. I'm more of a console gamer now than pc. My pc days are mostly over, but I will play some GFWL games once in awhile. It all varies, but for the price either way Gotham Impostors is a steal at that price.

For anyone interested, the GFWL version of Gotham City Impostors has 1,000 Gamerscore as opposed to the 200 it has on XBLA. It has the same achievements, they are just all worth 5x more. For $4, I think will try it out, despite my PC not being for gaming at all. I'm sure I can get that much fun out of it as long as it isn't dead online.

I'm saying it would be unfair to let people think they'll stand a chance with a controller. If you wanna play with a controller, that's what the 360 and PS3 versions are for.

Wrong. The PC, 360 and PS3 are for whatever YOU WANT TO use them for. I've played Shadowrun on the pc and done better than people playing with a keyboard+mouse. Your point? Still a good deal for those achievement hunters and who prefer to play it on pc though.

Maybe worth $3.75 if you're fine with getting a few months of playtime out of it. The player population is already very low, TDM is the only mode that gets games consistently and the kill limit is only 50 so games go by very quickly then more matchmaking, if you're lucky enough to not have connection issues. No community hosted dedicated servers means it can't even last with a small cult following, developers aren't making any effort to improve the PC version, more focused on the console releases and getting out more paid DLC. They used to have one guy that would post on the Steam forums every once in a while to quiet down the angry mob, and he's disappeared completely, that should tell you something.

Ya, my brief experience with the ps3 version from plus involved long load times, pretty annoying WB TOS, trouble finding a match, and freezing on the load screen after my first match that forced a ps3 reboot. It was a cute concept but pretty broken. I just uninstalled it and moved on... Hope the PC version is better for anyone grabbing it with this deal.

I've never ever played one of those "multiplayer online shooter" thingy games before, I bought this hoping I could play it with/against bots (no such luck)

but so far I am having fun with it.

I suck.

Badly.

But still, it's fun when I finally get a kill against somebody. It's worth the cash, that's for sure
wow..

its a gfwl game an no controller support? seriously? on top of that i hear pc version is empty online? anyone confirm?
I've been playing it a lot for the past two days, and I really enjoy it. The online seems to be dead in all gametypes except Team Deathmatch, but maybe that's just because I don't feel like waiting to find a match. I've been able to find a few different matches during the day and at night, but it there's not much more than that.
