Goodfellas for me ashamed i dont have that yet?
fella

@MVP there was an ad scan for next week up (but I'm assuming it was promptly taken down) and the pics certainly looked to be the steelbooks ...

It looks like the pictured version of Inception is the Steelbook, but I'm guessing that's an error (not that it matters for me since it's OOS locally):

[Picture deleted]

Is Human Planet on the same quality level as Planet Earth and Life? I'm debating picking that one up.

Edit: Got excited to see Slipknot in the ad, but it's just a greatest hits compilation. :sigh:

Edit 2: My bad on the picture. Check the OP for a link to it.

Absolutely. That one slipped under my radar for one reason or another so I did a blind buy and it is just as great as the other specials (picture quality wise and content wise). $15 is a steal. I wish Frozen Planet was included in the sale too. It'll drop somewhere eventually...

Are they supposed to get more Firefly blus in or something? It has been that price all week, but they are apparently very hard to find. Not available for shipping online and I tried to do store pickup at 2 locations nearby that said they had it only to get an email later saying it couldn't be located. Don't see the point in advertising the deal if they have such a limited stock...
Pictures of ads in advance aren't allowed. This is why.
My mistake. I took it down.

Thanks for the info. I'm waiting on a drop with Frozen Planet as well.

If you live in Los Angeles and are planning on getting the Stanley cup Champion LA Kings dvd- Fry's will be selling it for 19.99 BR and 14.99 dvd on Tuesday.

Why are most of these sale prices already in effect Saturday? I picked up a Puss in Boots 3D, Rio 3D, and Dazed and Confused today.

I think they've been on sale for the last month.

I was at the Best Buy in Duluth Georgia taking advantage of the game blowout sale when I came upon a couple of pretty good deals. They had a whole end cap dedicated to Batman, and I bought Batman Begins (steel book), and The Dark Knight (steel book) both on Blu-Ray for 9.99 each. The movies also have $5.00 off movie ticket coupons for The Dark Knight Rises which I was planning on taking my girlfriend to go see anyway. If you buy the movies, and take advantage of the $5.00 off movie ticket coupons, then your effective cost is $5.00 each. I'm not sure if this is a national sale, but it's definitely worth checking out if you don't already own the movies. Both movies also include Ultraviolet digital copies.
Is Inception steelbook $10 or is it the regular version on sale? If its the steelbook, does it come with 3 discs?
They had one steelbook in stock at my local store, unfortunately it didn't ring up at the $9.99 price point.

My Best Buy had 3 of the Sucker Punch steelbooks left, but they rang up at $20. Since it's off the website, is it basically permanently stuck at 20 now? I was kind of hoping they would match them to the normal blu price but no luck.

This weeks add pictures the steelbook version at $4.99 w/ U&S coupon. My brother was able to get the $19.99 price adjusted today. Most likely it was a mistake, but you may have a good chance if you bring the print add up to the register with you, as he did.

SO far this sale, picked up:

Ice Age 1, 2 and 3
Batman: BB and TDK
Battlestar Galactica S1, 2, 3 and 4

Gonna pick up 3 disc MI:GP today, I think and probably something else to get 2 more movies to turn in to Movie stop to preorder Avengers for free with. I figure everyt8ime I do that, it only costs me $10 total for any BR new release that I want. That's not a bad deal. I just clear off the digital copy and flip it back to them for $14 in credit.

My wife hates Goodfellas. I turn it on everytime I see it playing. She also hates Casino which I play constantly.

had no luck finding planet earth in southern cali, sold out everywhere around my area! this was the only thing i wanted from this week's sale :(

Sherlock Holmes Game of Shadows is 12.99 or 7.99 after coupon. Grabbed one today with UV code. Steelbook is still like 30

these upgrade & save deals are great for $10 B/R's but for the newer $15-$20 ones I see better value in using the $10 savings code deal. By early Oct. all the ones I want will have been cheaper so the 60 days in just great.

So today i grabbed

The Last Samurai
Ice Age 1
IA Dawn of Dinosaurs
MI4 GP X3 3 disc
Firefly Complete Series X2
Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon
Sherlock Holmes GoS (7.99 after coupon)

Amazing deal for blu-rays. Im not too crazy about buying blu-rays but some od these were too good to pass up

If anyone wants the Firefly Complete Series, PM me and we will talk about a price.
