The cowboys are still looking to move draft picks. I believe my 2nd, 3rd, and 5th are not currently involved in trades. No trades have been finalized though so any pick is available for the right price.

:)

I have a reason for this! I originally thought I would be having a late Easter dinner with family. It changed, and is now a lunch, so I can make both times!

Edit:

We've seen it. I have voted. I am sure you'll see a response soon. Same with the Ravens/Colts trade.

Haha what about to 49er's giants trade

Andy Dalton for the 2nd Rounder? I am pretty sure that was passed a while ago.

You guys gotta cut me some slack with these trades. This is one of the busiest times getting everything ready for the draft. Today alone, I've received 82 PMs. If it's been less than 24 hours since you submitted your trade, please try to be patient.

Ravens Send

Doug Martin - HB
Age: 25
86 OVR
87 SPD, 95 ACC, 84 ELU, 85 CAR, 89 BCV, 88 TRK, 97 STA, 93 TGH, 96 INJ
4 Year-$3.6M $0 bonus
2 years remaining
2014: $980K
2015: $1.28M

Ravens Cap Space: $13.29M

Ravens reason for trade: Doug Martin doesn't fit my offense very well. I would rather have the draft pick.

Colts Send

Draft Pick: 1st round/13th pick

Colts Cap Space: $60.36M

Colts reason for trade: Needs a starting running back

Trade Approved

Bears send:

1st Round Pick (#31)

Shane Vereen, HB, 25 years old
74 OVR
2 years, 1 remaining, 2014: 720k, 80k Bonus
90 SPD, 86 ACC, 81 ELU, 76 CAR, 79 CTH, 75 CIT, 74 SPC, 75 RTE

Tim Jennings, CB, 30 years old
78 OVR
5 years, 4 remaining, 2014: 1.61m, 2015: 2.10m, 2016: 2.73m, 2017: 3.56m, No Bonus
89 MCV, 85 ZCV, 52 PRS, 67 PRC, 94 SPD, 95 ACC

Cap Space: $16.52 Million

Chargers send:

Malcolm Floyd, WR, 33 years old
86 OVR
5 years, 3 remaining, 2014: 4.78m, 2015: 5.91m, 2016: 7.41m, 4.00m Bonus
87 SPD, 85 CTH, 84 CIT, 82 RTE, 94 RLS, 80 AWR

Shaun Phillips, LOLB, 33 years old
86 OVR
5 years, 3 remaining, 2014: 9.49m, 2015: 11.71m, 2016: 14.62m, 9.40m Bonus
91 PUR, 87 TAK, 82 SPD, 87 PRC

Cap Space: $20.86

Chargers want a receiving back, and Vereen is one of the top receiving backs in the game. They also want CB help and another first round pick. Bears need WR and LB help.

Trade Rejected

A few in the committee didn't feel like enough was coming back to the Chargers in this one. A very late 1st round pick, and two mid level players didn't seem like enough to net two very capable star level players. I would say another pick (mid round) or another 70s player would balance this out a bit better.

It's ok. Just trust that I'm getting to things as quickly as I can. Just a particularly busy time for the league, in the midst of regular life responsibilities as well. My main focus today was making sure the draft time was figured out.

Sam Baker and Bryant McKinnie are still available for trade. I have too many starting quality offensive tackles and would probably take a 2nd round pick for either player.

For those that are unaware, you can still edit players to different positions in this game, but it is very limited. You can move RT=LT, RG=LG, RE=LE, LOLB=ROLB and I think that is it. You just hit Edit Player and change the position. They retain their original ratings when you do it this way. So if you need a RT, these players can be moved to that position. This is different from moving them on the depth chart.

Also for those unaware, schemes determine a players overall rating. Scheme can be changed by hitting Strategy and going to Schemes. For example, Haloti Ngata is one of the best defensive lineman in the game. If I put my RE scheme as 3-4 Run Stopper, he is a 97 OVR, but if I change my RE scheme to Speed Rusher, he becomes a 79 OVR. This is one of the reasons why OVR ratings are not that important. You need to look at the individual attributes if you want to know whether a player is good or not.

Keep in mind when changing positions on the depth chart in games it actually effects their original ratings. For example if I were to switch my RG to LG on the depth chart during a game and he has 80 RBK and 80 PBK rating normally his ratings may drop down to the low 70s with the position change. I hope editing player positions before the game doesn't have the same effect.

Does anyone now why after we advance a week, the computer changes my individual defensive schemes I've set? My defense is set to an attacking 4-3 yet after we advance it changes my DEs to 3-4 run stoppers?
JPP is a lot of things, but 3-4 run stopper isnt one of them lol.

Maybe if you have a 3-4 defensive playbook then it wouldn't matter what your scheme is because your plays are 3-4 set.

I'm getting ready to go out of town until tomorrow night so I'll be limited on discussing trades. I was hoping to get something done, but I think I'm going to have to stay at #2. If anyone does have an amazing deal though let me I'll try to reply. I need CBs and WRs, less so offensive line.

OT Bryant McKinnie and SS Bernard Pollard are still available for trade. RG Marshall Yanda and WR Vincent Jackson are also available, but only for a top draft pick or a comparable MLB/CB/HB. If you have a MLB I want, I would include MLB Jameel McClain in any trade along with another player or draft pick.

Chargers send:

Malcolm Floyd, WR, 33 years old
86 OVR
5 years, 3 remaining, 2014: 4.78m, 2015: 5.91m, 2016: 7.41m, 4.00m Bonus

Cap Space: $20.86

Chargers want a receiving back, and Vereen is one of the top receiving backs in the game. They also want CB help and another first round pick. Bears need WR and LB help.

Revision: I swapped the 31st pick for the 16th, and threw in the 4th rounder.

Trade Approved

San Diego Chargers

Quentin Jammer
CB
35 Years Old
84 OVR
Contract Info: 6 Years, 4 Years Remaining, salary for each remaining year (2014: $6.15M, 2015: $7.64M, 2016: $9.58M, 2017: $12.12M), $8M Signing Bonus

Team Cap Space : $31.85M

For

Minnesota Vikings

Josh Robinson
CB
23 Years Old
71 OVR
Contract Info: 4 Total Years, 2 Years Remaining (2014: $800K, 2015: $980K), $800K Signing Bonus
83 MCV, 83 ZCV, 55 PRS, 67 PRC, 97 SPD, 97 ACC, 90 JMP

Mistral Raymond
SS
26 Years Old
78 OVR
Contract Info: 4 Total Years, 1 Year Remaining (2014: $590K), $160K Signing Bonus
78 MCV, 77 ZCV, 71 PRS, 79 PRC, 71 TAK, 84 POW, 82 SPD, 89 ACC, 87 JMP

Team Cap Space : $18.89M

Reasoning : Chargers are looking to make defense quicker, younger. Vikings looking for a better CB to cover some of the WRs out there.

Trade Rejected

While Jammer is getting up there in age, he's still got pretty serviceable Madden stats (PRS and PRC in particular). And really, both guys the Chargers are getting back bring nothing to the table when you consider this is the final season of the league. Raymond's numbers are barely passable, and despite Robinson's speed, his PRS and PRC will get him eaten alive.

Chiefs are not CPU owned...

The new owner, sicsonic already informed me of an issue between him and the Cowboys. Apparently a trade was proposed through the game and accepted. sicsonic apologized, saying that he's still learning how the league works. But njrockpd should have known better.

NO TRADE PROPOSALS SHOULD BE MADE IN THE GAME UNTIL THEY HAVE BEEN APPROVED IN HERE.

Final warning.
