Anybody know if Grand Cru still plays in this league? or if he's out of town or something... or another way to get hold of him. Thanks

What about my statement identifies a lack of intelligence? Why would I ask for the respect of someone I have no respect for? I was respectful toward you upon leaving the league and you took underhanded shots at me and I am supposed to show you respect? The point of me responding at all was to make the point that you should listen to members of the league a little better if you want to solve your issues instead of siding solely with the people who run the league. I'm not here to offend anyone else by naming names, but maybe if you listen to the discontent of some of the users it wouldn't escalate to the point where uber feels he needs to quit. Maybe some of the higher ups in this league (yourself included) need to look at their own manipulation of the rules before they can fix any of the problems.

Pretty much all of it. I'm not going to dignify the rest of your ridiculousness, or your sad attempt to insinuate that I manipulate the rules of the league, with a thorough response. It's not worth my time.

I'll just say this: I've helped run this league successfully for three years now, and between the other commissioners and myself (and many helpful league members) we've been able to make it a wild and sustained success which has provided countless hours of entertainment and camaraderie to the league members. I've poured thousands of hours into this league for which I've been compensated absolutely zilch. I volunteer my time to do this gladly because of how much enjoyment I get out of the league. I have absolutely nothing to prove to a bitter malcontent who was here for about 10 seconds.

If you're looking for an apology for me not congratulating you on quitting the league, you're not going to get it. It was your choice, and once you left the league it stopped being my problem to worry about what you have to say. I'll leave it at that, good day.

Now I am starting to wonder if I am cheesy. It's weird, what I might consider a legit play, others might consider cheesy. I know I run a very fast paced audible offense, but nothing really wrong with that.

Can't wait til you pull another one of your moves and the other commissioners cave and ban you. Hopefully I'm still in the league then. If not, someone PM me. 8-)

I've got to say mog, that comment was pretty fucking low. This league wouldn't exist without uber, he deserves far more of your respect than he gets. Not that I suspect your respect matters the least bit to him.

sooo... maybe i should've stayed out of the league? I'm with MA on this while issue... i don't have anything special i do to win games. i call a variety of plays designed to keep my opponent guessing. i don't take advantage of the the horrible AI to get the job done. i think the game has gotten easier to manipulate over the years and people have abandoned thinking in terms of sim in favor of arcade styled play calling. it'd be nice to have people exhibiting genuine knowledge of football and how to pick apart an opponent through legit play calling and in game adjustments rather than pitching plays you know can't be covered due to AI or the physics of the game. long story short... Sim = playing as though you are on the sideline coaching. Arcade = using the video game glitches, physics, and AI as though they were plays themselves

You sound like the bitter malcontent. A little frustration building up there I see. When I arrived in this league the best simile I can used to describe the feeling is what it must have felt like for Kobe to be a high school player and the next day he's in the NBA. It was a well oiled machine and (even though I think you are a nasty person) I know you have a lot to do with that. I made my suggestions and complaints because I thought staying active and contributing is what made the league great. You being the brilliant man you claim to be called my comments "butthurt" and ignored them. Now a lot of the same problems are returning and I'm trying to explain to you that you should acknowledge what people say instead of disregarding statements that may maintain the quality of what you are trying to do. Don't let pretentious attitude get in the way of your duties to the league.

All of your comments were addressed. You simply didn't like the explanations. Just because I lit the other end of the bridge on fire doesn't mean there wasn't a torch in your hand as well.

You think that fero manipulated (or at the very least "creatively interpreted") league rules in beating you, the fact that you brought it up again on the last page means you still think that. I happen to have written the rules you think he manipulated, and I can tell you with certainty that he didn't. You've played fero once, I've played him dozens of times and I've seen everything he runs. His QB runs are all designed plays in the playbook he uses. Designed QB runs are permitted in this league. It's in the rules that you claimed to have so strictly tried to adhere to, and it's not something I edited in to support fero, it's been that way all year. The rules are the rules, and fero and I agree to play by them just like everyone else. That doesn't mean they are perfect, but the idea that we'd hold ourselves to a different standard of conduct is ridiculous. You thought he broke a rule, but you were categorically wrong in that belief. You chose to express your belief in what I found to be a pretty passive aggressive manner, which I pointed out. You then chose to quit, and I didn't try to stop you. I certainly don't regret that one bit given how I see you're choosing to conduct yourself now.

Honestly, you think I defer to fero over other members in the league? Damned right I do. I trust his opinion and I've gotten to know him pretty well. That doesn't mean I refuse to disagree with him (or uber), I have plenty of times. If he was in the wrong, I have no problem saying so. Nor have I had any trouble admitting when I perhaps could have handled something better. I'm certainly not infallible. This is not one of those times though.

You've stated your grievances, which you're certainly entitled to do. Your assessment of my level of interest in what league members have to say is wrong, but you're certainly entitled to hold whatever beliefs you want to hold. If you want to blame your exit from the league on me, you go right ahead. That being said, I see no positive outcome from continuing this further, so I'll just suggest we wish you well in your future Madden endeavors and let that be the end of it.

Anyway, I need to get up early to shovel snow tomorrow.

I hope you don't feel the need to continue this further njrock, I doubt either of us is looking especially enlightened to third parties. I'm sorry I called you unintelligent, that was uncalled for, and not productive to the discussion at all. That doesn't mean I don't find your assertions offensive, I do, but there's no point in dragging this further into the muck. I don't expect that every separation between player and league is going to be amicable, but at the very least we can try to keep it cordial.

As for the rest of the discussion, I appreciate everyone's thoughts and input. This league is always going to be a work in progress, but I'm committed to keeping it as fun as possible for everyone. It's a delicate balancing act, but I always am open to suggestions on how we can improve things.

You must have "creatively interpreted" my last statement about Fero as I clearly said I was using it as an example (IE.) in reference to what was said earlier about rule interpretation. I prefaced it by staying "I am not taking a shot at Fero" and as you may also note that since my first comment about Fero's game play I have been anything, but passive aggressive when addressing you. You say my assessment of your interest in what others have to say is wrong yet you incorrectly quote me time and time again.

Also, can you explain what is wrong with the way I choose to conduct myself? How has my behavior been any worse than yours?

If you choose to wish me well and be done with this conversation do me a favor and have some self respect. Say what you mean, don't be a hypocrite by insulting me in a passive aggressive manner and expect me not to retaliate.

it just comes to a point. and this madden 13 has been bad overall. i feel like they didnt test run the game one bit. i agree maybe all-madden might make a change because all-pro lets a lot of things go.

I agree with MA with playcalling but when everyone is aiming at you out of being bitter you put up with the "TE POP" play or the 15 yard out pattern that works on man and zone. So speaking for myself I swithed my playbook since complaints and the Ravens Playbook is very limited in plays and different routes. So I am making changes based on what people say no matter good or bad. So for what madden has done to us all sucks

btw has anyone notice onside kicks are broken? I feel like when I put the hands team out there we never recover
