There was no Super Bowl hangover for the Cardinals as they win in convincing fashion over the Falcons in Atlanta, 49 to 3. There was a lot to be excited for with new starting quarterback, Blaine Gabbert, as he did well and amassed 6 touchdowns, to 6 different receivers, on the day. However, he lived on the big play and good field position. Gabbert does need to become more consistent as he only finished with a 56% completion percentage, learning to sustain drives will be the next step in his development.
On defense, there really was not much to complain about for Arizona. On the day, they forced 2 fumbles and intercepted 5 passes. They only allowed Matt Ryan to complete 7 passes for 118 yards, and 52 of them were on a 75 yard hail marry attempt before half. It's safe to say the improvements on defense are going well to start the season.

3:30 left in the game with a big lead and still going for the endzone with a pass. 2:20 seconds left in the game lets run it to the outside then get stopped before scoring and well go ahead and score anyways. im glad i ran out the clock becuz it was clear ur werent going to. so many options there like taking a knee then kicking a FG but no one cares about there kickers XP right just the other players. i get it ur really good at madden didnt need to see u score more to realize it. i believe u oly ran it 3 or 4 times in the 4th quarter as well. plus good runs with gabbert 4 wide taking off with him after 2 seconds (none designed qb runs)
