Does anyone know this
Western Digital Elements SE 1TB USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive

works as an external hard drive on the PS3?

Newegg is having a $10 promo on it and I'm thinking about use it for media. I do have the older WD 1TB "my book" hard drives and I know it doesn't work with the PS3 (probably can't recognize anything bigger than 500GB).

Thanks in advance!
Awesome, thanks Paco, I'll order that WD 1TB external drive.
I have a seagate drive. 2 TB of fun. Just remember your hard drive needs to be formatted in FAT for the PS3 to read it.

Paco - exactly what I was going to say. That and the USB 3.0 is wasted on the PS3. It would be nice but that came out long after (in technology age) the PS3 was out.
