PS+ gets a launch discount and free DLC:[/QUOTE]

fuck I want the free animals. The starting animals suck ass and the game can be hard as hell if the randomizer or whatever they use doesn't give you enough food....

I also wish you didn't have to unlock story mode. I've only unlocked the tutorial and the first chapter so far.

Played a long survival session with the Pomeranian and got to 34 years before I decided to take on a bear, which was a lot harder than the cows I took out earlier. Found this weird underground sewer system that took me way across the map.

The reviews range from horrible to really good, but it seems that the more credible review sites are saying it's good. I love games that feature unique concepts and I have a bunch of $10 PlayStation cards. Might as well pick this up for $12. I wasn't even aware of this game til reading about it yesterday on CAG!

So I'm not the only one who did the tutorial 2-3 times right? Right????!!! Having allot of fun with this though. Just found out how to see which districts have more food than others.

Got my deer to 33 years old before a whole district of lions and tigers wiped out my heard. Also found that sewer system with the alligators in it. Unlocked the gazelle, the gazelle boss was located right at the entrance of the lower left district (forgot the name). Gonna try to make it to the woods and check that out

I have mixed feelings about this title. One the negative side of my boat, I feel like there is too much grinding to be done with the shitty animals before you get anything really powerful to play with. I also find the herbivores to be zero fun (except in the MGS-Lite story missions). And let's not forget that the graphics are very, very poor (it looks like a PS2 game in one of those HD collections, except not quite as good).

Positively, though, I am still playing it and probably will be for a while. The game has a really bizarre allure that is tough to pin down. I think it's the dynamic nature of the game world. I always get excited when I am running my cat away from a pack of hungry wolves, only to cross and wake a sleeping tiger who begins to fight and distract my pursuers.

Certainly not game of the year material, but it's still a good time.

If you want to play powerful animals fast, then grab the story mode discs fast with the deer and you'll get a taste of awesome animals in story mode.

Game is fucking awesome. Flawed but awesome. I've unlocked all the non-DLC animals (but haven't bought the two
robots
yet as they're too expensive ) and finished story mode. Taking a break for a while but I'm sure I'll be back at some point. Definitely worth $15.

I had to take a break after playing it for a week straight. Played last night and got the wolf to 75 years (best record yet!)

Still been playing this off and on, not really liking the idea you have to play survival mode to unlock the story mode lol
Add me to your PSN friend list if you guys want, I'm interested in seeing everyone's leaderboard stats in comparison to mine l :)

I can't get past the press any button menu. I am pissed I missed out on the free DLC considering I bought this at launch and I am not just getting around to playing it. Also, the human DLC comes out soon.

I had to delete and redownload to get it to work.

Nothing brings me as much joy like being a grazer and mule kicking a Pomeranian into next week because it was dumb enough to take me on. Either that or running into a chicken party as a predator. Instant boss buffet.

The hardest grind for me so far was unlocking the cheetah as the hyena. You only have to claim the territory, but even if you MGS like a boss, that can blow up in an instant when a retarded boar decides to kite every fucking cheetah in the area around you. I think I was into my 15th generation and my 7th attempt before I finally pulled it off.

Worst unlocking is the Tosa by far. They really aren't that powerful as a player character or in other settings, but it seemed like to me they really jacked up their stats or some shit because they are beasts in that mission. Took me so many fucking tries until I got lucky with the boss.
